Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Aminata Coote It concerns me that our girls don't seem to have enough strong, female role models who are trying to live godly lives.

Movies, books, and music videos teach our girls that their sexuality is a currency to be used. And then, they do but the price is too high. They trade their bodies and reap pain, grief and shame.

I hope Royal: Life Lessons from the Book of Esther will teach our girls that they are far more valuable than they may realize.
