Jesse R Page Two new novels are in the works:

One is the direct sequel to The Darkest Night called Authors of the Forgotten. It follows Zackery and the crew of the Ceisiwr Seren as they have to deal with problems growing on the other side of Gillian space.

The second is called Carthago Delenda Est. A sci-fi heist story centered around ideas of patriotism, imperialism, and religious fanaticism set on the habitable gas giant of New Carthage. The Latin title translates to Carthage must be destroyed.
Jesse R Page The Darkest Night has been a long time coming. The concept of the world and the basic elements of the plot are years old. Some elements though, are very new. Sali-Mandu (the main antagonist), those who've read the novel will be surprised to hear, was created after even the outlining process. Originally the villain was going to simply be the mystery of Erebus and the Yekkelle. But Sali-Mandu soon became a core part of the book and I think you'll agree he is a welcome addition.
