My excessively fun work in progress is a science fiction romantic suspense novel. Set on Mars four hundred years after the first colony was established, mysterious deaths plague the tenth dome. Cody Greene is a spy assigned to be Technology Director Lisa Shim's secret bodyguard by becoming her actual husband. She's the brightest engineer the planet has ever known. Can she restart the planet's core and save the world? Or will Cody's secrets get them both killed before he even tells her the truth?

I attend workshops and college-level classes to overcome writer's block. I need the energy of a group of like-minded people to jazz me up when I've been on my own for too long. A good critique partner can help, but out-of-the-box thinking is required for me to get really creative. When it isn't fun anymore, I need some fresh ideas!
