Lori Wilde I do put my life experiences in my books. What's the old advice, write what you know? I think all authors put their experiences in their books whether they do it intentionally or not. In some cases, as in THE SWEETHEARTS' KNITTING CLUB, I learned to knit while writing the book.
Lori Wilde The holiday plays a big part but it is not a typical feel-good read. I cover a lot of dark topics in that one, although things are good by the end. If you're looking for cheery, skip this one.
