Lori Wilde The holiday plays a big part but it is not a typical feel-good read. I cover a lot of dark topics in that one, although things are good by the end. If you're looking for cheery, skip this one.

In "Back in the Game" Rowdy Blanton offers a spiel "I believe..." that is eerily similar to Kevin Costner's riff in Bull Durham. Was that intentional?

I don't know if readers are aware of this, but you have put a lot of yourself inside of your writing. Such as in Back in the Game, with zip lining. Plus, the novel's location being in Texas. Did you intentionally plan to put a little of yourself into your novels? Or did that just happen by itself? I was wonder if authors do that purposely or not. Pretty neat.
