K.A. Tucker Hi Bella -- I wish I had a great answer for you. I came up with them in the way I come up with all of my characters--slowly, and by understanding their situation. I try to create interesting characters with compelling stories. Many times they simply evolve into who they are.
K.A. Tucker Hi Lincoln -- I have no plans at this time. I don't like creating drama for the sake of drama, and I'm not into writing epilogues. That being said, I have toyed with the idea of writing epilogue type novellas for each series.
K.A. Tucker I have no plans on writing another book about River and Amber. The way I write my books, I like to leave their HEA open to interpretation.
K.A. Tucker The books haven't been sold yet. I would LOVE for them to be carried there, as I think they'd do very well in that market. But in order for that to happen, the publishers need to know that you (the readers) want them :D
K.A. Tucker Nope! It is a complete book within a series, and you get your HEA at the end (even if you're dragged through some heart ache during) :D
K.A. Tucker Hi Patrizia! I'm so glad you enjoyed In Her Wake. People have asked me to write TTB from Trent's POV but I have no desire to retell a story. I wrote IHW because it was all new material and it would give me a chance to answer questions that may have not been clear in TTB. That book is my way of giving Trent's POV :D
This question contains spoilers... (view spoiler)
K.A. Tucker Hi Jane -- I have no plans on giving Rowen his own book at this time. That may change down the road, but I have 4 other books in line to write :D
K.A. Tucker Hi Molly -- This may be the most asked question by my readers :D. I have no plans to give Nate a book. He has always been a secondary character in my mind, and I don't know that I'd be able to do that story justice.

K.A. Tucker Hi Elianne - I have no plans for more books in the TTB series at this time. If I do revisit that series, it will likely be as a spin-off.
K.A. Tucker My favorite book of mine is Burying Water (but don't tell the others...:D) BUT, my favorite couple to write was Ben and Reese, from Five Ways To Fall.
K.A. Tucker As I see it now, the TTB series is complete. I have some ideas for a spin-off series with some of my favorite characters, but no plans to write them right now. Perhaps in a few years. I'm fully invested in the Burying Waters series, plus an adult thriller.
K.A. Tucker I've always seen Ashton's story as being complete, as it relates to Livie. Now... could there be a prequel?
Perhaps
:D
K.A. Tucker I've had a lot of people ask me for that but I have no plans at this point. Nate has always been a strong secondary character for me, just as Storm is a strong secondary character. I don't know that I could do either of them justice with their own book.
K.A. Tucker Not yet! But I'm hoping to see one of my stories brought to life on the big screen one day :D
K.A. Tucker It was tough at first, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now :D For me, it's not about the male vs female as much as the multiple points of view. You have to look at the story through different sets of eyes and keep the momentum of the story going without simply retelling the story. Multiple points of view can become repetitive if not done correctly. It's tough! :D
K.A. Tucker Hi Nayab -- I began writing novels a little over 5 years ago, though I used to spend my time writing stories when I was very young. I have had many passions in my life--cooking, home decorating, gardening--that I would say served as outlets for my creative side, though I never thought of them as that. I still love all those things, but they have taken a back seat to writing now :D
As far as being encouraged, writing was something I jumped into because I wanted to do it. I never told anyone besides my husband that I was writing a book until the book was done and I was self-publishing. It was met with mixed response (from excitement to quick dismissal). I think every writer gets that same reaction.
K.A. Tucker Hi! Yes, I did plenty of research, mainly about amnesia (how it truly works, the different types, real cases, etc) as well as the Oregon setting.
K.A. Tucker Hi Vera -- I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm actually fortunate in that no one close to me has ever died in a drunk driving accident. But I know many people who have gotten behind the wheel when they shouldn't have. The very idea that it can happen (and so easily) is what scares me. As far as the "not wearing a seat belt" part is concerned, two people in my life have died because they weren't wearing theirs. I would say that that reality has definitely influenced me.
