Hi Kathleen! First of all, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I've just finished "In Her Wake" and should say the book is amazing! I enjoyed reading it and as well as the first book "Ten Tiny Breaths". They are my favorite in this series. My question is what influenced you to write this book and helped you to creat the plot. Were there some events in real life that really took place and then became part of this story?

K.A. Tucker Hi Vera -- I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm actually fortunate in that no one close to me has ever died in a drunk driving accident. But I know many people who have gotten behind the wheel when they shouldn't have. The very idea that it can happen (and so easily) is what scares me. As far as the "not wearing a seat belt" part is concerned, two people in my life have died because they weren't wearing theirs. I would say that that reality has definitely influenced me.
