I hadn't noticed no one had added The Fourth Sister of Fate yet :) I've put up a minimal entry for now.

Unfortunately, I suffer from idea overload. This means that once the current series are complete, I have several more series to write.

Since the Chimera Wars, the flag of humanity has been a pattern of fiery stars on a blue-black background. When folded up into a small square, you just see the centre point which looks plain black.

Ebook December 2019, Paperback February 2020.
Actually, the wheels are in motion on the ebook, but I can't tempt fate with predictions on how long they take to turn in the pre-Christmas period.

Hi William. I'm flattered to be at the top of your list of "I seriously can't wait!" authors. I very much appreciate your support for my books, and it's entirely my fault that you can't track down any pre-orders.
There are a lot of factors to consider in having pre-orders on books. I'm currently choosing not to do them, mostly because I'm running on very tight time-scales to get the books out as fast as possible. If I set a pre-order, then failing to meet the promised date would both disappoint people and cause major problems. That means I'd have to set the dates to allow leeway for my background illness flaring up or a book misbehaving, and all my releases would be pushed several months into the future.
So for now I'm not doing pre-orders, but anyone on my newsletter list will get an email whenever a new book is published. If I do have a pre-order for anything then I'll yell about here to make sure people know.

He is! I can't say exactly how because it would be spoilerish. ☺

I'm afraid the best answer I can give you is possibly. It's something that may potentially happen, but exactly which books and when depends on book sales and other factors.

Ah, there are two things going on there. One is that Nia Stone occasionally finds the flowery prose her husband uses in public a bit irritating. Partly because he talks like a human being when they are in private.
The other is that when stressed Nia sometimes appears to talk to ceilings and walls. Mason Leveque and Riak Torrek know exactly why she does that. By the time of the events in Earth Flight, so does the General Marshal, because he would naturally check out every detail of someone given Nia's responsibilities. Jarra, however, has no clue why Nia talks to walls, so there's no explanation given in the trilogy.
There is an answer tucked away in one of the Earth 2788 short stories though. Kappa Sector 2788 which is written from Riak Torrek's viewpoint. I don't want to give spoilers here because there are likely to be further references to this in future stories, Please either message me here or use the contact form on my website if you'd like me to explain further.

Hi Monique. In an ideal world, I have 3 releases planned for 2018, but the schedule is really tight so the last one may end up releasing at the start of 2019. First comes Earth and Air (the sequel to Earth and Fire), a prequel novella in the Earth Girl series. Second comes a full length book, Scavenger Blood (the sequel to Scavenger Alliance). Third comes Hive Mind 3, but, as I said, that one may end up drifting into 2019. Anyone wanting email alerts when I've got a new release can sign up on my website.

I'm so pleased that you loved both the books. As you said, there's a novella and a sequel in the Hive Mind series planned to come out in the next few months. The plan is that the following release will be the sequel to Scavenger Alliance.
I do intend to do more in the Game future of Reaper eventually, but I'm afraid I don't currently have a timeline for it. It's also possible that the next book in that future won't be a sequel to Reaper, but a book about Hawk first entering Game, since I've been getting feedback from several people who'd like that. I'd be interested to hear what you think about it.

Yes, I do have plans for sequels to Telepath. Indeed, my timescales are always a bit of a guess, and books sometimes swap places in the publishing queue as well.
However, my next book should be Scavenger Alliance, set in the same Portal Future as Earth Girl but centuries earlier at the end of Exodus century and featuring one of Jarra's ancestors. (That should be out by May 2017.)
After that there should be a prequel Hive novella set a year earlier than Telepath, with Amber and Forge on Teen Level. (Summer/Autumn 2017) Then comes the sequel to Telepath. (Hopefully Hive Mind 2 will be out in time for Christmas 2017. If not then early 2018.)

I'm sorry to hear about the aftermath of your concussion. That must be really frustrating for you, so I'm pleased if my books have been a help with it. My two new books, Telepath and Reaper, are set in very different future universes that may or may not be to your taste, but I have plenty more planned for the Portal Future of the Earth Girl trilogy as well.
At the moment there are four extras pieces set in that universe. Earth 2788 is a prequel short story collection. Earth and Fire is a prequel novella featuring Jarra. Frontier is a prequel novella featuring Amalie. Hera 2781 is a shorter piece featuring Drago.
My next full length book, due out spring/early summer, is set in Exodus century and features one of Jarra's ancestors. There will be more to follow. :)

A lot of writing advice works for any writer regardless of their chosen genre. I think one thing that's most important for young adult authors is to have fun. Seriously, write something that you enjoy. As you progress from writing for yourself to writing for other people, you'll spend a lot of time going over and over the same book to revise and improve it. You want to preserve as much of your enjoyment in writing as possible. Also, if you don't enjoy what you're writing, then it tends to show in the end result.

I have a terrifying amount planned. You've probably already discovered my extra short stories and novellas featuring characters from the Earth Girl Trilogy. The next full length book should be out summer 2016 and is set in a totally different future Earth, but I'm working on more books set in the portal future of the Earth Girl Trilogy as well. The plan is books set in Exodus century, then during the original Chimera wars (Tellon Blaze!), and then what happens after Earth Flight.

There is intended be another novella about Amalie... some time in the future. The full length books are generally more popular with people, so I'm making those a priority at the moment, but I will be wedging in more novellas when possible. I have so many ideas that I want to write that I really need to have a few clones of myself. :)

I'm glad you've been enjoying the books so much.
Frontier isn't out yet. I originally planned to release it in December/January, but I was ill with a horrible virus in December. I opted to put the shorter Hera 2781 out in December/January instead. Frontier should probably be out around the end of February/early March.
