What is your biggest tip for an aspiring young adult author? I absolutely love your series Earth Girl, Jarra is an amazing character :)

Janet Edwards A lot of writing advice works for any writer regardless of their chosen genre. I think one thing that's most important for young adult authors is to have fun. Seriously, write something that you enjoy. As you progress from writing for yourself to writing for other people, you'll spend a lot of time going over and over the same book to revise and improve it. You want to preserve as much of your enjoyment in writing as possible. Also, if you don't enjoy what you're writing, then it tends to show in the end result.
