I'm not sure yet. I might reread the After series. Maybe finish off the books sitting on my currently reading list. Or make a lucky wheel and pick at random.

If I could travel to any fictional book world, I’d slip into a chaotic blend of the Study series, Anita Blake’s universe, Chicagoland Vampires, and The Iron Fey—a dark, magical realm where political games, supernatural secrets, and deadly beauty rule the night.
I wouldn’t be some hero with a shining destiny. Nah—I’d be the snarky wildcard everyone underestimates. The one who sidesteps the rules, rolls her eyes at ancient prophecies, and probably steals someone’s enchanted dagger just because it “looked better on me.” I’d walk the shadowy line between loyalty and rebellion, magic and steel, fae courts and vampire alliances—dressed in something black, armed to the teeth, and always a step ahead.
What would I do there? Probably save the world. Reluctantly. With maximum sass and minimal sleep.

Honestly, it came from a story I was writing back in middle school. Originally a horror idea. But then after years of reading, after the vampire craze, and that in the original story was about a demon. I thought to make a world that combined a whole bunch of supernatural creatures. Which lead to not only the start of the creation of Heavens Keys, but a whole world, that will lead to a whole series.

My inspiration comes from a variety of things. Honestly, and some will laugh at this. I had stopped writing for a very long time. But then I read Stephenie Meyers Twilight series, back in 2009. As we all know she is not the greatest writer, but she had made a good story. So after reading the Twilight series, I was like "I can do this!" and so I started writing again, and started out handwriting story ideas, character ideas, settings, etc. Then started actually writing a story. Started out as me trying to remember a horror book I was writing when I was in Middle School, that my grandfather ended up throwing away.
Well couldn't remember what all that story entailed, so I scapped it. Started brainstorming, and turn it from an Horror Novel, into a fantasy novel. It took many years to get to the point, that I sat down and worked on it more and more and eventually finishing it. Friends, Colleagues, other authors, movies, books, tv shows, music. They all help give me inspiration to continue writing. To get me to the point, where now i'm a self published Author.

After writing Heavens Keys, I instantly moved onto writing Under Darkness Book 2 of the Heavens Keys series. Heavens Keys wasn't even edited yet. But, I was on such a roll and the ideas were just flowing out nonstop, I had gotten that written. So right now, that's sitting waiting to be edited. I've also have written some not all of Lightfall Rising Book 3 of the Heavens Keys series. So that's what i'm currently working on.

Just write, don't worry about editing, formatting, none of that. Just write, and continue to write, only focusing on writing. Then once you are done with that, then go through and work on the editing and formatting and all that. You just want to get the base ideas down first, if you focus on editing while you write. For me, that's where I get tripped up and lose focus.

putting the things that run constantly into my head, into a world that I can share with others.

I take a step back from my writing and go play games, listen to music, watch an anime, or an asian drama that makes me laugh. Then, after a bit I go back, and i'm good to go.
