Telepathic Potential
The following is a quote from Mark Zuckerberg on FB 2015
"One day, I believe we'll be able to send full rich thoughts to each other directly using technology. You'll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too if you'd like. This would be the ultimate communication technology."
So... Zuckerberg wants to experience a telepathic connection. I assume he wants to sit in the control tower hidden from view, rather than willingly place himself in the target’s position.
Every nation and corporation with the capacity is trying to develop telepathy technology!
Albeit; in a private setting it might be an amazing experience with an interested group of adults on a level playing field – with each participant giving informed consent and a choice of opting out at any time, if it’s not their cup of tea! The 10 Tenants of the Nuremberg Code should be a mandatory requirement! That being said:
This novel is an exposition of the multi-faceted world of telepathy and it’s potential from the captive’s vantage point.
Excerpt from The Mind Game Company - The Players
Marcie: Are we all connected, something that song was suggesting?
Danny: There are 7 billion people on the planet, so I don’t know what he was implying.
However, if you can connect with me, you can connect with anyone, but probably not everyone at the same time.
Marcie: Is there anyone you would like to be connected with?
Danny: I’m thinking...
If your ability is rooted in telepathic technology, then somewhere down the road, you could create a user’s party line while monitoring everything from control central. You might get a mobile device company interested with the ultimate in wireless communications, but don’t forget the informed consent.
Just think, blanket the entire country with a mind to mind frequency network. May as well make use of those antiquated GWEN towers. I suppose each person would have their own unique brain wave pattern as a signature IP address, complete with their platinum profile. Broadcast it all from the Tower of Babel – back to when man may have had clairvoyant capabilities.
I guess it would make cell phones obsolete. You’d have to come up with a good sell program to get everyone to jump on the bandwagon before they know what hit the fan. You could call it the Infonet or Infotrap, although that might make some waves.
The proponent’s pitch – mankind must strive towards global unity. The end result – catastrophic chaos and social unrest. Just a reminder, relationships are difficult enough without mind reading, especially with someone else in the control tower. It’s difficult enough to get ten people to agree.
Marcie: Your mind is working overtime.
Danny: Well, yuh gotta be somebody. I do believe it’s possible for normal people to have a very limited ability to sense what someone feels or thinks, but it’s vague at best. There’s the occasional response to a phone call, “I was just thinking about you.”
