Every day I receive emails from lovly people who, holidaying on the island of Sicily, encounter a cat abandoned or in distress. They want to know how to help. I am happy that, in some small way, I can give them pointers. My one woman organisation Catsnip was set up some thirteen years ago and since that time I have made trips to Sicily with teams of vets to treat and neuter ferel cats.I have been in local schols encouraging Sicilian children to respect animals. There have been both joy and tears. Th story of my journey over thee years is told in my book The Great Sicilian Ct Rescue published last June.
