Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

I hoped this would mean more to them.

I also included dumping issues and the importance of micro-chipping your pet into the plot. This book is based on a true story of our dog Abigail, whom I found. She had been dumped and had a litter of puppies earlier that day.
It is the story of her making a life in our home. It is told mostly from her perspective. (less)
