My audio book of Her demonic Angel went live on Amazon today!

I am so excited to have just received an email from ACX telling me that my AUDIO BOOK edition of 'Her demonic Angel' has just gone live on Amazon and will soon also be available on iTunes! It's free if you're an Audible member apparently. I don't know yet what the iTunes price will be.

I narrated the whole book myself and also produced the cover. My thirteen short stories are written in different genres. 'Her demonic Angel' is also available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions. http://amzn.to/1qt3b5e

I am thrilled that producing the audio book unexpectedly all went through without a hitch because it is my first venture into making an audio book from scratch. If you ever buy one, I'd really love to know what you think about it. A review would be very much appreciated.

I definitely will be producing more of my own audio books in future, whether anyone buys a copy of 'Her demonic Angel' audio book or not. It has been a ton of hard work but well worth the effort because now I can read you all a bedtime story!

Shocked and delighted.

I'm in shock. Last night, I received a message on Facebook from Tobias Van De Peer, someone I have not seen for over ten years. He told me that he has recorded himself narrating the first chapter of my thriller, Random Bullets, on Soundcloud. He is a talented musician, actor, voice artiste and all-round performer. I am amazed and thrilled that he took the time in his busy life to record a chapter of my book.

I think that Toby has done a fantastic job. What do you think? I know that he had enjoyed reading the book, but I am delighted that he likes it enough to also narrate it. Here is the link to the SoundCloud file of Toby narrating Chapter One of my Random Bullets that he has just sent me: https://soundcloud.com/tobiasva…/rand.... I don't know if the link will work on Goodreads. I asked Toby if I could share it on my social media and he kindly agreed.

My thanks go out to Toby, for taking the time to make such a wonderful job of narrating the first chapter of Random Bullets. It is my favourite book of the eight that I have written. I was planning to narrate Random Bullets myself, just as I have done with Her demonic Angel and The Hostile audiobooks. I reckon he narrates my books better than I do, ha! I'm looking forward to hearing him narrate the rest of my Random Bullets. Coincidentally, the Kindle edition of Random Bullets is free on Amazon on 18th and 19th July.

The audiobook of A Slice of the Seventies went live yesterday

A Slice of the Seventies (The Mug Trilogy, #1) by Joy Mutter The audiobook of A Slice of the Seventies, narrated by Tracey Norman, went live on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes yesterday. It is my eighth audiobook on those sites and the second that Tracey has narrated for me. She also narrated my character-led novel, Potholes and Magic Carpets earlier this year. I’m thrilled by how perfectly she’s narrated Potholes and Magic Carpets and A Slice of the Seventies, the autobiographical first book in The Mug Trilogy. I hope to work with her again soon as she’s a class act with the best diction I’ve ever heard. Like all my other books, A Slice of the Seventies is also available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats.

A Slice of the Seventies tells the story of Jersey-born Mug, a troubled girl from a recently broken home. It covers her experiences as a teenager at the Isle of Wight Music Festival in 1970, the same year she follows a guru. The book tracks her tumultuous four years as an art student in Coventry, where vegetarian Mug finds herself living next door to an abattoir and a railway shunting yard with David, a fellow art student. Dramatic events follow on from the evening they first meet at a party, where David is attempting to commit an extremely public suicide. Whether you were around during that decade or not, you’re bound to enjoy this nostalgic Slice of the Seventies. This loosely autobiographical book can be enjoyed as a standalone without having to read The Lying Scotsman, and Straws which are books 2 and 3 in the Mug trilogy.

Doc Togden said in his 5-star review, “I have studied and written about this period of British cultural history – and find this book completely delightful. Now you don’t need Dr Who’s TARDIS – you have A Slice of the Seventies.” “A thoroughly gripping read – it will make you boogy.”
