Happiness

From the past few days I am intrigued about the idea of true joy or happiness and where it exists? The very idea of life rages the spark in me and leads me to find happiness within the Life. Life that exists today not tomorrow, Life that we do not live but love, Life that creates another life, Life that is inching towards the reality with every breath going in and out, Life that is not bound by the worldly colors and perfumes but filled with purity and light, Life that giggles through and creates the sensation that touches the soul, Life that always calls for love, Life that celebrates the death as the wedding with eternity, Life that exists In universe yet carries the universe of its own.
For a moment I started thinking as if I am living backwards and that idea instead of making me worried about future made me happy. That idea gave me the thought to live every day, hour, minute and moment as if it is the last one and I am sure whomsoever you are wherever you are , you are going to be happy when the last moment will arrive.
We all are so worried about tomorrow that we are forgetting to live today. We are sweeping the road to skies, going to mars and landing on moon but we forget that your joy is here today; your happiness is here today at this very right moment because nothing remains for tomorrow. We continue to beat the drum of realization and promise and live in the hope of finding happiness but what if there is no tomorrow.
Then the question came how should I live today; For me to live today doesn’t mean to leave the psychological purpose the God has given us to fulfill in this life and become a monk because who knows that makes my life even more miserable. Or to just become selfish and try to find happiness even in despair, nah doesn’t work this way. So do I need to choose the middle path between the existential and psychological life and be happy, nah you can’t find true joy and happiness if you need to resort the middle path.
So what is it? Well think about what you are searching for; every craftsman searches for what's not there to practice his craft; Water fills the empty pot; A carpenter
stops at the house with no door and musician try to search for the notes that are not yet stroked. Similarly vice versa the pot is there to be filled with water, the house with no door is looking there for the carpenter and the notes are there waiting for the right musicians to discover. So essentially in words of Rumi what we seek is seeking us; if we seek happiness no matter how tough the situation is happiness will find us at that very moment. So stop living for tomorrow and be humble on your success and learn from your failures; don’t do your duties rather love them and at the end of the day try to think of things that made you happy on that day and note it down because as I said what if there is no tomorrow.
