The Big Who and Why?

It’s an interesting subject to even think about than to talk about. Many People all over the world are trying to find the purpose or the meaning of one’s life. Some are searching in spiritual books, some are seeking with the help of Gurus and some have chosen the route of ecstasy. But is it worth knowing who we are and why are we here?
The human body is the most complex system beyond the comprehension of any science and logic and it continues to evolve with time. From the day we were born to the day we will depart, we continue accumulating the information using one of our five senses and that leads to the evolvement of our mind which controls what we do and who we are at that moment of time. Now if we are controlled by one of our own organ then we are not even the master of our own body forget about others. It quite freaks me out but imagine that even our dreams are driven by our subconscious mind. So are we what our mind and thoughts are? Are we what we believe in or are we what our five senses are? Well I don’t know either but I believe it’s not about defining who you are as it sounds rather it is about finding your identity beyond the physical boundaries of five senses.
Now how can we look beyond these five senses, I think one way to look at it is to give away the possessions of these five senses ,People call it Nirvana. I wonder if it also smells like a teen spirit but giving away possessions is easier said than done. But I believe one can begin with controlling the urge of expanding the possessions beyond the one’s need and that way we at least can cut down the desire of securing one of these. Ok, so I will try to cut down on my possessions to not become slave of my own five senses but will this give me peace of mind and answer my question of who and why? May be not or may be yes but it will at-least make me focus my mind beyond the control of five senses; and that could possibly open a new window to the new world where things are not what I see or experience daily.
But why would I do that when I am happy with who I am, well if we think about “why”, we will never be able to find who and how and sometimes it’s necessary to consciously grow in our awareness of the unknown. So stop worrying about what we did and what will happen and take a moment now to think about “Who and Why” to discover the truth. The truth which is “neither this nor that” (Neti-Neti), the truth through which gradually one negates the mind and transcends all worldly experiences that are negated till nothing remains but the Self. And that truth is who we are individually and collectively.

The Existential Reality

The Creator created us human as the most sophisticated creation of his own; we are a level ahead of all of his creations and a level below of himself. But then why are we so full of hatred and above all if we are his supreme creation why do we suffer? All Relations, Pleasure and sufferings; are these part of the Creator’s plan or are we creating it on our own?
Truth is that the Creator created us all the same as part of his cosmic existential reality and what we live in is nothing but the psychological reality created by our own mind. It is all an illusion where we see the world; the way we think about it, the way we believe in it. But is this real? For Example we believe that Sun rise in the east but by what assertion we know that it is the East, Earth is Round in Shape and in the Cosmic Milky Way we are located how we know what is east and what is west?
So we tried to establish the psychological reality with our sense of directions, actions, dramas and dreams because the creator empowered us with the greatest tool of Imagination and emotion. During this process we create the psychological relations and link it with the emotions and that cause the sufferings at times.
We start believing in what we call a religion or faith, we try to submit ourselves to the Outward Powers to seek the Peace and love and keep moving away with the existential reality. We blame the Karma or god for the mess we created around us but who knows what Karma is; it took us human; the most intellectual of all to discover and know about the miniscule Atom; a practice of thousand years and work of centuries and yet we all know that for all our sufferings it is the Karma who is bitching somewhere. Again for me it is nothing but a step further away from our existential reality.
Our Existential reality is to start the Inward Journey and to step a level up and get united with our creator. A journey which is not carried by your body because for the Creator the only purpose of creating your body was to give your cosmic reality a sense and a chance to live your psychological reality and use that to embark on the existential one. Your body acts as a timer for you to make you realize that with each passing minute your are constantly moving towards the ultimate reality i.e.: Death. Irrespective of when and where your mind moves, your body moves in a straight line to one and only one destination “The grave”. So we need to embark on the Inward Journey; treat our body as Temple and pray the Creator and perhaps be him or with him into the world of existential Reality. This will open a new world; a world full of profound happiness and love; a world which Exist within not around us.

Happiness

From the past few days I am intrigued about the idea of true joy or happiness and where it exists? The very idea of life rages the spark in me and leads me to find happiness within the Life. Life that exists today not tomorrow, Life that we do not live but love, Life that creates another life, Life that is inching towards the reality with every breath going in and out, Life that is not bound by the worldly colors and perfumes but filled with purity and light, Life that giggles through and creates the sensation that touches the soul, Life that always calls for love, Life that celebrates the death as the wedding with eternity, Life that exists In universe yet carries the universe of its own.
For a moment I started thinking as if I am living backwards and that idea instead of making me worried about future made me happy. That idea gave me the thought to live every day, hour, minute and moment as if it is the last one and I am sure whomsoever you are wherever you are , you are going to be happy when the last moment will arrive.
We all are so worried about tomorrow that we are forgetting to live today. We are sweeping the road to skies, going to mars and landing on moon but we forget that your joy is here today; your happiness is here today at this very right moment because nothing remains for tomorrow. We continue to beat the drum of realization and promise and live in the hope of finding happiness but what if there is no tomorrow.
Then the question came how should I live today; For me to live today doesn’t mean to leave the psychological purpose the God has given us to fulfill in this life and become a monk because who knows that makes my life even more miserable. Or to just become selfish and try to find happiness even in despair, nah doesn’t work this way. So do I need to choose the middle path between the existential and psychological life and be happy, nah you can’t find true joy and happiness if you need to resort the middle path.
So what is it? Well think about what you are searching for; every craftsman searches for what's not there to practice his craft; Water fills the empty pot; A carpenter
stops at the house with no door and musician try to search for the notes that are not yet stroked. Similarly vice versa the pot is there to be filled with water, the house with no door is looking there for the carpenter and the notes are there waiting for the right musicians to discover. So essentially in words of Rumi what we seek is seeking us; if we seek happiness no matter how tough the situation is happiness will find us at that very moment. So stop living for tomorrow and be humble on your success and learn from your failures; don’t do your duties rather love them and at the end of the day try to think of things that made you happy on that day and note it down because as I said what if there is no tomorrow.
