Near Death Experience
NDE or Near Death Experiences can alter your life forever.
Since the publication of my book,"How to Talk With Spirits" I have been contacted by groups who investigate and are interested in my NDE. I hadn't realized how many are truly to interested in learning what is on the other side of life.

How it Began
In 1970, after a serious automobile accident and while in the ambulance, I expired for a moment and was subsequently revived. This was my first experience with spirit connection. For many years after this incident, I couldn’t talk about my profound experience of being on the other side. How could I explain I saw the light? How could I describe the ecstatic sense of pure joy and serenity unknown to me previously in this life?
Outside the crashed vehicle, a white light appeared to emanate from a woman standing close by. She stared at me intently through the windshield as I sat bleeding profusely from head and face injuries. Dazed, I looked back at her. Her presence was comforting and her face kind. Surrounded by a glow of light, she appeared to be clothed in all white. I felt loving warmth from the woman and thought I heard her say, “Don’t worry, it’ll be alright.” But that was impossible given the distance between us. Then the light enveloped me. Only I wasn’t led through a tunnel as others who have died and returned say they experienced. The next thing I recall was a policeman sitting in the driver’s seat next to me telling me to hang on. I knew he was talking to me but I couldn’t focus on him. All I could think about as blood poured onto my new coat bought for a first time date was how my clothes were ruined. It’s strange what bothers us in serious situations. I don’t recall being carried from the wreck to the ambulance or even the ride to the hospital.
With time, I remembered my journey to the other side. Once you have come back from the brink of death, you’re never quite the same. What happened during that time, how you felt, what you saw always remains vivid in your mind. I saw deceased relatives, some gone for many years. Some I only recognized because of old photographs in family albums. In a beautiful garden, they were laughing softly, their faces full of peace and love. A warm bright light surrounded the whole scene. An ornate white iron fence encircled the garden. I stood outside the fence, gazing at my happy grandparents, uncles and aunts. They watched me with big smiles. I felt peace and heartfelt love. Then they began to wave me away, cheerily saying, “Not now, June. Go back.”

It was frightening and confusing for a nineteen year-old woman to see, hear and know facts about living and dead people. I fretted and wondered about these strange happenings. NDE, at this time, was rarely, if ever, discussed. People dismissed individuals such as myself with NDE experiences as delusional, fakes or odd. It was also a huge time of change both socially and politically. This may be why, in time, I accepted the fact my outlook on life was different. I could hear, see, feel, and even smell non-physical people as though if they were in front of me. And with acceptance came the desire to learn more about it.

Reading Dr. Moody’s many case studies calmed my anxiety. I learned there were many individuals worldwide, and throughout history with similar experiences to mine.

STICKS AND STONES - THE POWER OF NAME CALLING
Sticks and bones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.
The little ditty children learn to ward off feeling badly when attacked by mean name calling.
Mikey's stupid. Mary's an ugly, fat cow. Bobby's skeely-eyed! Suzy's so skinny she falls through cracks. You're crazy. Belong in a nut house! Tommy's worthless - a sissy, a queer, idiot, good for nothing and on and on.
Usually an audience of listers chime in becoming a chorus of cruel words. Like real sticks the blows hurt and and humiliate the minds and hearts of the prey.
Unfortunately, those negative words often stay with us into adulthood and can smart just as when we were children.
Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. Proverbs 4:23
I'm preparing a lecture titled, The Power of Thoughts and Words, with a focus on how our physical bodies suffer from negative thoughts, I'm reminded to watch my words.
Words have an strong impact upon us as they roll around our brains, taking root, creating beliefs and self-images, life choices (personally and professionally).
Do you find you're your own worst critic? "I am so fat." "Stupid me!" (when we make a mistake). "I'll never get that job because I'm not good enough, smart enough, etc.) "I'll never meet the right loving partner because I'm (fill in the blank). "I'm not worthy to be loved, successful, whatever" etc. etc.
Those messages stuck in the brain's highway of electrical impulses shooting through it - through YOU, through your thoughts ulitamely creating stress and breaking down the physical body; ailments, diseases, pains.
I've been interested in how the brain works since I was a teen. I turn my thoughts inward to watch my brain's activity and feel the energy. Try it, it's amazing.
With the advancement of science in the study of the brain there is documentation through scans and imaging of the brain that words heard and spoken do need "light up" and run through various parts of the brain impacting our thoughts, emotions and physicality.
A thought enters the brain as an image, a color, symbol and/or sound. You then translate it into language, choosing a word or words to describe what you experience.
If this doesn't get your thinking about changing your mind/thoughts, what will?
Words Can Change Your Brain by Andrew Newberg, M.S. American neuroscientist and Director of Research at the Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Mark Robert Waldman, Executive MBA Faculty at Loyola Marymount University teaching the Neuro Leadership program and author of 14 books “Words can literary change your brain. Negative words create a traffic jam in the brain. A single negative word can increase the activity in our brain’s fear center. This releases dozens of stress-producing hormones and neurotransmitters, which then interrupts our brain’s function. Angry words send alarm messages through the brain and they partially shut down the logic and reasoning centers locate in the frontal lobes. Conversely, hostile language can disrupt specific genes that play a key part in the production of neurochemicals that protect us from stress.”
Ouch! That caused my thoughts to think of the many years of thinking and speaking and listening to negative, hurtful words.
In the early 20th century Rosicrucian Max Heindel a Christian occultist, astrologer, mystic and author devoted much time and effort to ascertaining the real causes of physical and mental disorders. In his articles titled Occult Principles of Health and Healing, he writes, “In man the brain is the link between the Spirit and the outside world. He can know nothing of the outside world except through the medium of the brain. The sense organs are merely carriers to the brain of impacts from without and the brain is the instrument, which interprets and coordinates those impacts. It is known that thought breaks down and destroys nerve tissues.”
Florence Nightingale, pioneer for nursing, taught that the mental pain of the patient was equal to the physical. "It's a nurse's task to lift the spirits whenever possible."
Enlighten Your Awareness
Examine your thought and reaction. You might be surprised. Lift your spirits by consciously choosing positive words to feed your brain.
Peace, Love, Joy, Harmony, Kindness, Laughter, Play - repeat daily.
Use positive words. Look for the good. You are a creator of your life and the world's history.

Some certainly can be. In every profession there will be those whose purpose is to bilk customers and clients out of every last penny they have, right?
I've met but very few devious readers in this profession, although have had a few clients tell me of their bad experiences. One of my purposes to help the public understand the benefits and the times to choose another advisory professional.
This is why in my eBook, "The Timeless Counselor: The Best Guide to a Successful Psychic Reading" I layout how to spot a phony baloney reader ready to take whatever they can from you by encouraging fear and dependency.
That said, it's not just in the psychic profession. I've met much more honest, sincere people with strong psychic abilities than those false ones. Unfortunately, even the false ones often have strong intuitive skills and are very good at reading people's body language. Like many cons have. They spot a mark easily.
So....how do you cross the palm with coins and feel assured you are with an ethical psychic?
When I was researching various reading styles and readers back in 1989 before I published my book (original title: A Professional Psychic Reading as Alternative Counseling, which one the most sold book by an unknown first time author at New York Whole life Expo, '91) I tested a suspicion with a certain group of people who do readings.
It began well with the reader giving some reasonable information and then the bomb went off. I asked her if I could take notes. OH NO! That would disturb her energy; visions. Hmmm Ok.
Suspicion # 1 - why not?
I just about insist a client record what is said in some way, notes, handheld recorder and the majority of readers I've went to do the same. In fact I record sessions.
She asked for a question and I told her about the book being written - would it be helpful to those seeking a psychic? Take some of the mystery out of it, said I. She just about repelled from me, dropping my hand, eyes popping in disbelief: "NO! That's not a good idea. We shouldn't give our secrets, our power of how we read away."
Suspicion # 2 - why not?
It's been a mission of mine to encourage through teaching how we all have some kind of intuitive impressions. Often not as someone like myself with high in tune psychic abilities. But then again, we all have unique abilities like say, sewing. I've always been in awe of those who whip up wonderful creations from just a big piece of material. can only sew buttons on and not necessarily very well.
In my book I give more examples of how to spot a phony. For example you don't have to pay anyone to light a candle for you; buy one and light it yourself with the intention of positive seeing your future better. Spells - oh! don't get me started on how some so called psychics bilk people out of money and belongs to remove spells.

A PSYCHIC KID: CHALLENGES & HOW TO SUPPORT
In my latest radio interview the host and I talked about the challenges a psychic child faces in family life and society. Interview on Paranormal Soup Radio Show YouTube
Do you have a psychic child? Then what I talk about in this interview will be of interest to you.
The host had been a child with strong psychic impressions and thankfully he had a mother who listened and supported her son. Now as a parent of two children he wanted to give them the opportunity to feel comfortable with their psychic abilities.
My son was also a highly developed psychic child who actually received pertinent information about a murder case I was working on. He was only 3 1/2 years old when he first received visions about this case and it went on to he was about 5 years of age. He willing talked about what happened to the woman murdered. I did not feed him any information or encourage him to talk about it. I listened.
I offered the information to the police, but protected my son by saying it was my information although I did record my son giving his impressions. Working with law enforcement can be quite a challenge for psychics because their approach and methods differ.
What he received helped officers find an elderly witness whose testimony was videoed because of his age and illness and later presented in court.
I also gave detailed information known only to the police and continued to work with law enforcement to secure an arrest. The perpetrator is, to date, in prison.
How parents can supported their psychic child: Parents might not believe in the paranormal, maybe never having any experiences themselves, but how does a parent handle a child that talks about visions about things that happened before their birth or things to happen that do occur?
Listen, do not say, "Don't talk about that" or "You're only imagining it." Instead, if you know about the history the child visions, give credence to it. If it's the future, say,"We'll see in time, won't we?"
Do not encourage frightening dreams or perhaps an entity your child is fearful of. Rather, give the child comfort and offer to create a safe space by having the child imagine sitting in a white bubble, safe from all that can harm her/him.
One time a very nasty entity came to my house and I dispelled it, only it went into my young son's room and caused havoc. But, that's another story in the interview.
Or, the psychic child who communicate with spirits?
An example of a kid talking to spirits was a grandson, not by blood but a 'bonus' grandchild that through marriage. He was only four when my eldest sister died suddenly. Her death wasn't discussed in front of him so when he "saw" her in his psychic eye then related a message we were surprised.
One night after a visit from my son, his wife and my bonus grandson I was bidding good night when he appeared to be falling asleep while standing; his eyes fluttered and his head fell forward. He then raised his head and said clearly, "Your sister is standing next to you. She's smiling and said not to cry for her."
I was grieving heavily and not at that time, but most days were spent in tears.
His mother had no idea he was a psychic kid. Maybe because he was with me, someone who would understand, his ability was revealed. At that time all I say was "Thank you." Since then we've shared many a psychic experiences and I support his ability through teaching him how to contain, understand and call upon it while I listen with an open mind.

I offered the information to the police, but protected my son by saying it was my information although I did record my son giving his impressions. Working with law enforcement can be quite a challenge for psychics because their approach and methods differ.
What he received helped officers find an elderly witness whose testimony was videoed because of his age and illness and later presented in court.
I also gave detailed information known only to the police and continued to work with law enforcement to secure an arrest. The perpetrator is, to date, in prison.
How parents can supported their psychic child: Parents might not believe in the paranormal, maybe never having any experiences themselves, but how does a parent handle a child that talks about visions about things that happened before their birth or things to happen that do occur?
Listen, do not say, "Don't talk about that" or "You're only imagining it." Instead, if you know about the history the child visions, give credence to it. If it's the future, say,"We'll see in time, won't we?"
Do not encourage frightening dreams or perhaps an entity your child is fearful of. Rather, give the child comfort and offer to create a safe space by having the child imagine sitting in a white bubble, safe from all that can harm her/him.
One time a very nasty entity came to my house and I dispelled it, only it went into my young son's room and caused havoc. But, that's another story in the interview.
Or, the psychic child who communicate with spirits?
An example of a kid talking to spirits was a grandson, not by blood but a 'bonus' grandchild that through marriage. He was only four when my eldest sister died suddenly. Her death wasn't discussed in front of him so when he "saw" her in his psychic eye then related a message we were surprised.
One night after a visit from my son, his wife and my bonus grandson I was bidding good night when he appeared to be falling asleep while standing; his eyes fluttered and his head fell forward. He then raised his head and said clearly, "Your sister is standing next to you. She's smiling and said not to cry for her."
I was grieving heavily and not at that time, but most days were spent in tears.
His mother had no idea he was a psychic kid. Maybe because he was with me, someone who would understand, his ability was revealed. At that time all I say was "Thank you." Since then we've shared many a psychic experiences and I support his ability through teaching him how to contain, understand and call upon it while I listen with an open mind.

WALKS-IN; NDE RADIO INTERVIEW 5/11/19
In the early 1980s someone asked if I was a "walk-in"

What I learned was that some people who have had a near death experience (NDE), like I had have came back to life differently than before the occurrence.
This Saturday, May 11th, 2019, I'll talk about NDE and more what a walk-ins; the potentially differences the person can experience and recommend some reading material. I'll also talk about my NDE, what I saw on the "other side."
