What is a Real Apology?

What is an apology? Do you simply get to say a polite "abracadabra" and it's alright? A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down? What makes an apology sincere? Oh, I'm sorry to hear that . . . we proceed with our day as if we paid a parking ticket. When you wish you could have pulled back those syllables of air that just breathed out your lips . . . forming the word daggers directly from your heart. You immediately rush to plug the dam holding back the torrent of streams of tears bleedi...

I was hungry . . . and it was your world.

I just can’t fitYes, I believe it’s time for us to quitWhen we meet againIntroduced as friendsPlease don’t let on that you knew me whenI was hungry and it was your world Bob Dylan Just Like A Woman "I just can't fit" ... said another way ... I would spend the next 40 some odd years trying to find that peace again. Jesus loves me...this I know. This was the first theological st...

The touchdown pass was never thrown in the Super Bowl, storming the beaches of Normandy was not in the cards. Marriage to the Prince never happened. You never saved a life or stopped the crime as a policeman you wished to be as a young lad. Why you never even stopped that bully. There was never the song sang in concert, nor the dance performed before th...
