Sarah Riad, Young Adult author of The Sharp Knife of a Short Life and 364 Days a Year, recently published her third YA novel, A Tale of Two Ghosts.
Sarah is currently writing her fourth YA novel, Organ Failure which hopefully during this lockdown she can complete though chances are she'll spend most of her time procrastinating and playing sims.

When she’s not writing (and playing sims), Sarah works as a Legal PA in London whilst studying for a degree in Psychology.

I struggled quite often with WB and I found that listening to music, reading other books in the same genre to your book and taking a breather did the world of good. Take your time, slow and steady wins the race.(less)

“Dying is like the ocean, sometimes the tide comes in gently with soft, delicate waves quietly working in the background. Other days, the waves violently crash into explosions, demanding to be noticed but regardless of how it chooses to do its job, the tide will always come in.”
Sarah Riad, The Sharp Knife of a Short Life

“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”
Mandy Hale, The Single Woman–Life, Love, and a Dash of Sass: Embracing Singleness with Confidence
