This was a random read thanks to a Kindle ad, but the writing style was effortless and pulled me in immediately. Evelyn’s storyline was my favorite; I found Jenna a bit frustrating in terms of her indecisiveness and lack of personality.

I really liked the tangled storylines in this book. I never would have guessed the ending, so that was satisfying. The twists felt earned also, not just thrown in to shock the reader. I like Willingham’s writing style and will read her others.
