So I set small goals for m…moreI deal with writer's block on a daily basis. Even though I love to write, I almost always have a hard time getting started. So I set small goals for myself, and a small reward to match. For example, I might tell myself that after I write 100 words I can have a cup of coffee. After 250 words I can eat breakfast.

Most days, after getting over that first hurtle, I get caught up in the story and no longer need the goals. If I have to set a few goals for myself and I'm still having problems, I usually call it a day and do something else productive.(less)
