Journey of Soul – Karma
“Life is changing at the speed of consciousness, awareness, and change, and man no longer confines or accepts destiny; but applies his potential mind to question the complexities of life and the causes of events.”
Every human wondering, “Why am I suffering?” Why should I? I have completed all of my good deeds in my life… The search continues to the extreme, with the question, “Why do we ever exist here on this earth?”
In this catastrophe or tribulation – “What am I supposed to do or react? Why are we born in a particular and exceptional condition and situation? Why are there diverse states like poor, wealthy, healthy, unhealthy, wicked, or virtuous beings?”
The verdict for all different superficial and impermanent questions, the Doctrine of Karma, gives us some good understanding and interpretation of pain and pleasure. If we perform any action, it will end up either as good or evil actions with a well-understood reason regarding why the ordinance is in the “life of beings.” Now raise a situation with the feeling of anguish. There is something ever called good or bad? All those complications of life are an enigma; all queries are answered and cleared. Once we understand the “Karma Siddhantha – the essence and purpose of life.”
The keyword here is “why,” as in “Why do we feel pleasure?” “Why do we have to endure pain?” Most of our problems will be solved and answered if we can find answers to these “whys.” Henceforth, a widely pondered over the question of certain destinies, though quiescent and concealed for myriad reasons, is quoted:
“Why?” – Shri Sudama, a friend of Shri Krishna, inquired; we, Shri Krishna, and I, the two students of the same Guru (Master), He (Shri Krishna) became the King of this Earth, while I possess nothing, barely anything, even to eat for survival. Now, exceptionally, he sits on the royal throne while I have nothing but a begging bowl and a stick in my hand but am inclined to know the reason.
We can take the proper course of action once we know the root cause of the suffering, just as we consume the right medicine when we know the origin of an illness, similarly if we know and understand the root cause of pleasure. Also, we must recognise whether it is because of our accumulated Yoga (fortune) or hyperbole and, if deserving, whether there is sufficient Yogyatha (dis-severance) in us.
The Karma Siddhantha reveals that pain and pleasure are a tangle of life experiences based on the Mano Kleshas – afflictions of the mind.

Slay this enemy - Lust
Once a devotee asked, “ Shree Shambav, How then can we overcome desire so that the mind rests in peace forever?”
Shree Shambav smiled and said, “The secret lies in a very fundamental error in our judgement. Deep inside our intellect, a decision lies firmly entrenched that ‘we’ are the body. All that we associate is usually with the body or the mind.”
Devotee asked, “Master, Body and mind?”
Shree Shambav said, “Yes, We seek anything related with sense organs, material and physical objects that give pleasure to this body and mind as the source of happiness. We ‘think’ that pleasuring the body and mind will give us happiness.”
Shree Shambav said, “We consider our identity to be the body and we associate ourselves with the body(Deha) and consider ‘I’ to be this gross body. This is the fundamental error and understanding.”
Devotee asked, “ Master, Who am ‘I’?”
Shree Shambav said, “ If one realises the true ‘I’ that is the soul(Atman), not the body or mind. He will search for the ultimate truth and true happiness.
Devotee asked, “Master, Is that simple?”
Master said, “Lord Krishna continues his very important sermon to Arjun in chapter 3, verses 42 and 43 of the ‘Bhagavad Gita ‘.”
indriyaani paraany aahur indriyebhyah param manah|
manasas tu para buddhir yo buddheh paratas tu sah||
Meaning:- The senses are superior to the gross body and superior to the senses is the mind. Beyond the mind is the intellect, and even beyond the intellect is the soul.
evam buddheh param buddhvaa samstabhyatmaanam atmana
jahi shatrum maha-baaho kama-rupam durasadam
Meaning:- Thus knowing the soul to be superior to the material intellect, O mighty-armed Arjun, subdue the lower self (senses, mind, and intellect) by the higher self (strength of the soul), and kill this formidable enemy called lust.
Shree Shambav said, “The knowledge of the sequence of superiority amongst the senses, mind, intellect, and soul, can now be used for rooting out desire and lust.”
Shree Shambav said, “we should slay this enemy called lust through knowledge of the self. Since the soul is a part of the supreme, it is divine. Thus, the divine bliss it seeks can only be attained from a divine subject, while the objects of the world are all material. These material objects can never fulfil the innate longing of the soul and so it is futile to create desires for them. We must exert and train the intellect to think in this manner, and then use it to control the mind and the senses.”

Reincarnation
“I died as a mineral and became a plant, I died as a plant and rose to animal, I died as an animal, and I was Man. Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?”
Why is there a time lag between two reincarnations?
The teachings on reincarnation posit that after several rebirths, the soul will attain human perfection. And be freed from the necessity of being born again into a physical body. Two questions arise: first, what is the average time gap between incarnations, and second, how many reincarnations will the soul have before attaining perfection?
According to theosophy, the duration between lives appears to vary according to several factors - Normal reincarnation, death by violence, death while still a child, congenital idiots, and advanced souls. Souls rarely reincarnate instantly after death. Usually, there are several years or decades between one life and the next, during which the soul recuperates, considers the lessons learned from the last - life and plans the next one.
It should not surprise us to learn that we have had a past life or many past lives. The only ones who haven’t lived a previous life are those at the very beginning of the reincarnation cycle, and the only ones who aren’t coming back after this life are those at the - very end of this cycle.
Reincarnation is the norm for all human beings. It is universal.
REINCARNATION–A BEGINNING AND AN END.
• We are not tied - to a wheel of endless death and rebirth. The whole journey of evolving through reincarnation begins with us at a certain level and ends once we reach another level. However, from the first human life to last thousands of years, based on the availability of physical bodies.
• In spirit, the whole path is clear to us, and we know what we are doing. Each lifetime is a deliberate adventure, undertaken out of love and a desire to evolve.
LIFETIME IS PRE-PLANNED–Prarabdha Karma
• Before birth, the soul will decide what experiences and choices life should include.
• The circumstances and relationships will be chosen and set up with the cooperation and agreement of other souls - who will be involved.
• The major events in life are pre-planned: the birth, the family, the relationships, the career, and so on. These include deaths, accidents and illnesses. There is, however, plenty of room for other unplanned things to occur.
• The body - is chosen by the soul before birth. The souls are aware of which foetuses are viable and which are not. And which are going to be ended before birth.
• Some lifetimes are explicitly set up for the soul to undergo a particular learning experience, while some for the benefit of others‘ learning experiences.
The SOUL–Undergoes meaningful experience.
• One lifetime is not enough to experience the whole gamut of life circumstances and to make all choices. Hence, the soul reincarnates - many times over to experience the full spectrum of life.
• Being human again and again, each time with a different body, different circumstances and different relationships, enables the soul to experience the full range of perspectives and relationships and all the lessons that these entail.
• Through many human experiences, the soul gradually becomes more self-aware, discovers more of its true capabilities, and learns how to overcome the illusory limitations of being physical.
• The soul learns best through a “compare and contrast” process, not through blind repetition. Hence, any lifetime may differ from the last one.
• Each human life is an opportunity to learn specific lessons. One lifetime, for example, might focus on learning greater self-responsibility, while the next might focus on being kinder to others.
In the study, the time lag between two reincarnations on Earth could be an average of 50 to 400 years. Reincarnation - would be discussed in detail. In my upcoming book called - “Journey of Soul - Death.”
The reasons could be because:
The subtle body remains in the subtle plane of existence for variable periods to undergo its merits and demerits (sins).
Circumstances on Earth’s plane of existence need to be favourable to complete the give-and-considering previous births with various beings. Based on the law of Karma. The reincarnation of the subtle body is postponed; until variant with other beings with who they have a give-and-take account is also prepared to take rebirth.
Sometimes in past life regression, a person does not remember his previous life. The reason for this could be the rebirth could have been very short, uneventful or brief.
Children and congenital are said to be reborn quickly because they have not accumulated experiences that would entitle them. Then there are those victims of violent death (murder or accident) who are born immediately. These are cases of “premature deaths” wherein the person is not yet really “dead” because the latent vitality is not yet exhausted. Only the physical body(DEHA) is lost. The person will remain Atman (conscious) and “alive” in the astral world for the rest of their life span.
