THE GREAT BOOKSELLERS FALL 2016 PREVIEW
I have been looking forward to fall for awhile now. Nina goes back to school. My book comes out. My book comes out. And, yes, I wanted that sentence twice. Three times would be too many or I would type it again. I obviously considered it.

Finalizing some events.
It is not enough to have a reading any more either. They really are events. When I went to Irina Reyn's launch party, there was this terrific little band playing Russian songs. Finalizing some events.

There was vodka, Russian food, a friend in the role of bartender. It was a party. I had such a good time and I put a chocolate egg in my knapsack which I ate on the subway ride home. Irina also read and was interviewed. Or, perhaps it is better say, was in conversation with...
I will be in conversation with some incredible writers. Emily St John Mandel, Megan Abbott, Robin Black, Lizzie Skurnick, Pamela Erens, It seems sort of nuts, typing this list, but it is true.
