As readers of the newsletter know, R.J. Blain / Lilith Daniels  (and all her AKAs) and I have been challenging each other to short/short/short story duels. At least that is what it has become — a series of writing challenges, (at dawn, with a glove slapped face, perhaps?). We are posting the challenges on our websites and PR materials and the shorts as giveaways on our own sites as fan-freebies. And since she made my challenge so difficult, I’m slyly upping the ante just a … just a dragon scale...

Newsletter problems all over, and this one had snippets (removed from the work in progress, so no spoilers). 

Poor Mud is having a meltdown because she accidentally dumped 4k of my newsletter subscribers. Mind you I am NOT upset at all and am laughing because it’s been a day. But she does need help to fix it. Please check to see if you got a newsletter. Or two. lol From MudSORRY! I was trying to remove one subscriber, but the site removed all but her, and trying to reset it meant all sub...

12 Days of Beast!

I originally published this for the fans in December 2011. WOW! So Long Ago!!!!

So long ago in fact, that I rewrote it for this year, and to make it more gory, because I’m feeling a bit bloodthirsty this year.

 

On the first day of Christmas,

The Dark Queen sent to me

A partridge in a pear tree. (licks muzzle. Good!)

 

On the second day of Christmas,

The Dark Queen sent to me

Two turtle doves, (small chomp and gone)

A partridge in a pear tree. (Good bloody chomp)

And the feat...
