What's your great escape?
All week long people all over the world say things like, "I can't wait until the weekend!" and "How much longer until it's Friday?" Friday...the day of the week that marks, for many people, their two-day escape from work.
The weekend brings new life to some, while it means working overtime for others - like mothers! LOL! I think life is too short to live for two days out of seven. I'd like to know what you do for your daily escape? Do you read, talk with friends, go out, have a drink, eat something yummy, watch tv?
My great escape is reading, though I usually only get to do that after midnight when everyone else in my household is asleep.
Share with me, please! What's your great escape?

Readers, we'd love your input <3
I'm chatting with two fellow series-writing authors about the number of series I write and how I keep up. I love writing series, and I love that mine all cross over, because it's so much fun to catch up with the characters. Since all of my books in every series can be enjoyed as stand-alone novels, there's no worry of readers missing out if they jump in at any point, and I see no reason to stop writing them. So please don't worry, I enjoy writing them too much to stop :) The question we have is this...
--- Some of us publish the next-in-series 3-5 months out. Some publish one or two books/year in their series. And sometimes, like with Harborside, there's a year or more between series books. What are your feelings on series? If you adore the series, do you still pick them up a year later if that's all your fave authors can manage?
