Broken, Eden West, my new book release day (Eden's Omegaverse book 1)
Today, according to my time zone, is the release day of my new book, "Broken". It's my debut in the Omegaverse subgenre, and I'm very curious to see if the book resonates with the readers.
The story delves into the healing journey of a young former slave, Lake, and a depressed widower, Aiden, who decides to take him in and help him deal with the challenges of everyday life. Will Aiden's love and tenderness be enough to heal Lake, or will other forces need to be involved? You'll discover all of this in "Broken"!
The story strongly emphasizes the deterministic, biological impulses between alphas and omegas, such as the Pull between mates, neck marking, nesting, pheromones, animal-like sounds, and various primal instincts.
The book is overall meant to be super sweet, not dark, and have a "perfect" HEA, focusing on the happiness of the main couple.
One more thing! :) I have planned more books featuring Lake and Aiden's children!
One of their sons, Rain, will have his own book titled "I Replaced His Husband", which is already available for preorders on Amazon.
And their other son, Storm, will have not just one but two short novellas dedicated to his story.
Their other sons - River, Winter, Archer, Silver, and Soren - will also have their stories told. I hope you'll join me for the upcoming books!

Finally! After a long time debating whether to give Broken a re-edit, the work is done! Huge thanks to M. for doing such an amazing job on the file.
Broken was my first book set in the Omegaverse, and back then, I wasn’t sure if I’d continue writing in this universe. It got mixed reactions—some readers absolutely loved it, while others weren’t fans of the third-person narration. In the later books, I switched to dual POV, but this story was always meant to be told in what I’d call a light POV (Aiden's). That’s just how it played out in my head. I know it’s not everyone’s favorite style, but I decided to stick with it while refining a few things.
I’ve smoothed out some parts, added a few short scenes, and included some plot tie-ins I felt were missing. I also toned down some of the heavier/more stilted writing that weighed on the story and cut a few info dumps.
Hopefully, Broken now feels more in line with my other books.
This is where the story of the eight brothers’ parents begins—this couple started it all. ❤
