Lonny was born in Oceanside, New York. She spent most of her life living in Costa Rica, where she experienced and indulged in the culture and tourism that the country has to offer. She journaled her experiences and anecdotes as a hobby and often drew and painted based on the inspiration of her experiences. Her environment was constantly stimulated by peoples of varied backgrounds, countries and ethnicities. This profoundly affected her view of the world and her deep imagination.
In 2001 Lonny came back to NY to live permanently where she became a banker. After spending many years in a profession that dulled her, she did some more soul searching and slowly started to go back to her first love, the arts of painting and writing.

Augh! The intimidating white piece of paper that stares at you.
"Write something on it." The voices in my head bully me.
I deal with writers block the same way you deal with any bully. You confront it. You stand up for yourself and in this case I do so by forcing myself to write.
When that doesn't work I do other things that help me loosen up my pen. I will work out, draw, start or finish a painting, meditate.
One thing I noticed about writers block is that it is very psychological. I will "freeze up" on writing when I am close to finishing a piece like a novel. Like I am afraid of letting go, having something completed, it not being good enough or other yet undiscovered ghosts in the closet that stop me from writing. In order to counter that, I noticed that by relaxing with a different pleasurable activity I can get my groove back. (less)

So far it has a prequel and it describes what happened to the "people of light" after they survived a catastrophe. It uncovers more about the myth of the diamond you can hold with two hands and its legendary path of power and destruction.
The main theme of the story is about taking risks. What happens when you let go of all material aspects and just have faith that starting over is gonna work out. (less)

Never has election day been so scary!

Today I am going to break one of my own rules.  “Never talk politics”  I always thought that politics was beyond my realm of knowledge as a layperson.  I never strived to be one of those loquacious in
