The Guest
On September 5th, 1977, Voyager 1 was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida. For over forty-two years the space probe has raced away from Earth at thirty-eight thousand miles per hour—past Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, cruising past Pluto and the furthest fringes of our Solar System. On August 25th, 2012, Voyager 1 accomplished what no other human designed device had ever done. The probe ventured into deep interstellar space. Over thirteen billion miles away!
Impossibly, now the spacecraft is returning to Earth, traveling at nearly one/thirty-seventh the speed of light. In thirty-one days, Voyager 1 will arrive home.
And it’s bringing an uninvited guest!

EXCERPT from ABOMINABLE
A giant ape scifi thriller!
John practically broke into a jog as they neared the large sliding hangar doors. Shelby noticed they were secured tight and some kind of reflective material had been placed over all the windows along the roofline. John took her arm. “Mendle said to enter through here,” leading her to a side door.
The clamoring echoed in the huge structure and that was not all Shelby noticed. The entire hangar was pitch dark except for small lights illuminating the exits. A guard escorted them past some vacant offices and into the main holding area.
She heard the young airman say to John, “You ain’t gonna believe this shit.”
John broke around a partition and lurched to a stop.
Shelby quickly stepped beside him. She saw the entire platform bathed in blue ultraviolet light—the only illumination. The shadow of the crane stood nearby resembling a huge extinct dinosaur. Shelby’s eyes shot to the UCO. It was upright, no longer lying on its side. Multiple black lights hung at every angle over the apron.
She felt her face flush when she zeroed in on the cylinder.
John found his voice first. “Son of a bitch! What the hell do you call that?”
For a long moment, Shelby stood frozen. When she finally found her words, she said, “Goliath. I would call that a Goliath.”

ABOMINABLE
A mysterious unidentifiable object is discovered buried deep in an isolated glacier in Alaska’s rugged Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It is composed of materials unknown to science and the mystery only deepens when the large unidentified object is determined to be twenty-eight thousand years old. Who left it there so many thousands of years ago? Why?
Dr. Shelby Hollister, a specialist in primatology, is consulted when bones dug from the ice alongside the object are found to belong to an unknown species of prehistoric primate.
The story explodes in magnitude when the object begins a physical transformation revealing what is inside—a perfectly preserved giant ape.
Only this gargantuan primate is not just preserved—this ape is alive!

Girl Blue--Horror or erotica?
Girl Blue was never meant to be an erotic novel. It was originally written strictly with the horror genre in mind. So what happened? Somewhere along the way as the story unfolded, some sexual content crept in-slowly at first like a creeping green vine climbing a red brick wall, then without even being aware of it, Girl Blue, the character, imposed her sensual will, and by the conclusion, erotica had subsumed a significant part of the horror. But as the sexual content could be construed as deviant in some ways, even the erotica was horror.
As happens in cases where the story falls into two widely divergent genres--horror and erotica--the novel can create some unfavorable reactions in certain readers. Since its release, the book has garnered her share of criticisms and low rated reviews. Yet no matter the vitriol as evidenced on some of the Amazon and Goodreads reviews, the story remains true to the author's original intent. I should know, I wrote Girl Blue. And somewhere along the winding road to completion, the story morphed from all horror to an erotic horror story. And I wouldn't have ended it any other way.
Happy horrific erotic reading!

SMILODON
The old man was being followed.
If they were after the precious mineral, he would have to kill them.
He started down the thirty-degree decline, careful to avoid any uneven ground that might cause a slip or fall. The rifle slung to one shoulder gave him whatever confidence he required to protect what he’d toiled so hard to remove from the earth’s unyielding crust.
Gold.
He cast a wistful look at the darkening sky. Into his eighth decade, the man bemoaned the arthritis in his hips and knees that slowed him considerably, and he no longer relished the thought of being caught exposed to the elements past sundown without adequate shelter in such a desolate and unforgiving region. Temperatures could drop precipitously and the wind chill would make any attempt at sleep near impossible.
But then sleep was no longer an option.
He was being followed. He was certain of this.
Reflexively, he touched the scarred wood stock of the 30.30 Winchester. With each step he took, the rifle gently tapped his side like a loyal minion.
Yes, if they were after the gold, he would have to kill them.
Sensing more than actually hearing the danger lurking ever nearer, he slowed enough to look back over his shoulder. He tried to ignore the tendrils of fear crawling up his spine, but the willpower of his youth had long since deserted him.
Unexpectedly, he found himself hoping it was the gold they were after.
The man clutched the tiny ivory lynx hanging from his neck for luck and pressed onward.

Smilodon Excerpt!
The bull elk grazed sanguinely along the edge of the clearing, keeping upwind of the thick copse of loblolly pines and rocky ridgeline. For most of the year a gregarious species, in another three months, this second-largest member of the family cervidae, exceeded in size only by the moose, would be transformed from a gently plodding giant into an aggressive androgen-crazed brute capable of inflicting severe harm with its four-foot tined antlers.
For now, though, the male elk was content to feed on grasses, twigs, bark, and freshly sprouted shoots.
The predator struck quickly, springing from the top of a craggy boulder, landing flush on the back of the thousand-pound mammal. With two lightning-fast thrusts, the cat sank its double scimitar-like canines deep into the bull’s thick neck, lacerating arteries, muscles, and nerves. Geysers of blood spewed from the wounds and in less than fifteen seconds the gangly giant was reduced to a quivering lifeless carcass.
The carnivore tore into the warm fleshy part of the dead elk, pulling and tugging at the soft meat. Prying his imposing snout into the still steaming viscera, he sheared off entire organs in massive chunks. Once his famished appetite was satisfied, the big cat limped back to the cover of the ridgeline.
What happens when the giant cat encounters prey that carry high powered rifles and hunt in four wheel drive vehicles?
