Born in Philadelphia, Syreeta Harvey-Pasley has lived across the U.S., primarily on the East Coast and in the Midwest. As an African American woman, her storytelling is shaped by firsthand experiences with racism and injustice. She uses fiction as a form of self-expression, reflecting on a divided country and the challenges of raising children in uncertain times.

A lifelong writer, Syreeta started crafting short stories and poems as a child. At 21, she began her first novel but set it aside, doubting herself. Years later, with encouragement from her husband, she embraced writing again.

An avid reader, she draws inspiration from authors like James Patterson, C.S. Lewis, James Baldwin, and others. Her love of puzzles and mysteries fuels her wri ...more
