The Healing Space – A Meditation on Ayurveda: 20-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Today let’s find inspiration from the ancient healing tradition of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda works with the five master elements that make up our natural world:

🌌 Space

🌬 Air

🔥 Fire

🌊 Water

🌱 Earth

Each of these elements flows into and out of us every moment, and every element exists in a dynamic exchange – a constant practice of flowing in, and flowing out.

Today, let’s focus on the element of space, which is akasha in Sanskrit.

Space is represented inside the body by the empty spaces – the lungs, the nose, an empty belly. Space is found between breaths, words, and thoughts. Outside of our physical body, space is represented by the vastness of the cosmos, and the infinite aspect of the galaxy. Akasha is the purest expression of space – infinite possibilities and pure potentiality.

For this meditation, we will drift our awareness to these spaces and places in the body and mind where we feel constriction, and allow the open energy of akasha to move in and make space, allowing it to lighten and release.

We’ll use the mantra om akasha ritam:

om is the universal vibration

akasha is space / infinite possibilities

ritam is the rhythm of the universe

I invite you to feather your nest – remembering that comfort is queen, and that in order to get to where we are going with our meditation practice, we must ensure we are as comfortable as possible. So take your time to get yourself settled, and then join me in the gap as we melt into this meditation.

Thank you for taking the time to be here today.

How did you connect with akasha during this meditation?

With infinite love,

davidji

Non-duality: How should we treat others?

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Many years ago, the great Hindu sage Ramana Maharshi was asked how we should treat one another.

He answered with just four simple words:

“There is no other.”

At first, that can feel abstract. But this is the very heart of non-duality – the timeless wisdom found in the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and so many sacred traditions around the world.

It’s knowing that the same life force flowing through you is flowing through me… through the trees, the rivers, the mountains, and the stars.

When we see life through this lens, separation dissolves.

There’s no “me” and “you.”

No “us” and “them.”

There is only One.

From this place, every interaction becomes sacred. Every act of kindness is an offering to the whole. Every breath is a shared breath. And every moment is an opportunity to remember that we are not in the universe – the entire universe rests within us.

Send some extra love out into the world today, and know that it will ripple back to you tenfold.

From my heart to yours,

davidji

Awaken Your Spirit Guide: 27-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Today, let’s call in our Spirit Guide to join us and help us navigate our life.

Let’s face it – life is hard!

It’s filled with challenges, opportunities and all sorts of situations that you’ll cross over the course of a lifetime. And it’s easy to feel alone through it all.

But you are never alone – and it’s important to remember that you’ve got a spirit team available to support you! In today’s meditation, let’s identify a spirit guide who travels with you through your life’s journey.

We’ll invite in a trait – a universal characteristic – that you can call on.

It could be abundance, comfort, strength, power, surrender, or whatever else is quietly calling for you. In this meditation, we will awaken that trait by embodying it, seeing it alive in our minds eye.

Whatever it is, you know that there is an essence in the universe that has that power, and you are able to connect to it.

In this meditation, we’ll go on a journey to find our spirit guide. Our mantra will be the name that you give to this guide, once you meet them.

This is a beautiful practice that can give your heart the comfort it deserves, and the sense of peace that you can always come back to – to remember you are never alone.

From my heart to yours,

davidji

Life Tools: The Divine Principle of One

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

I want to share a concept with you that’s at once so simple… and yet completely mind-blowing: Oneness.

The concept of Oneness goes back thousands of years. In the late 700s, the great sage Adi Shankara brought it into the spotlight through non-dualism – the understanding that there is no separation. Everything is connected. Everything is one. There is no separation.

We move through life in three realms:

✨ Physical Realm – the tangible, material world
✨ Subtle Realm (psychological) – our mind, thoughts, and emotions
✨ Spiritual Realm (Causal) – the unseen, eternal essence

Though they may appear different, they are simply the same truth wearing different disguises.

Ancient cultures across the globe understood this. The older the civilization, the more deeply it was rooted in this truth of interconnectedness.

In the Sanskrit Upanishads, this teaching is expressed beautifully:

As is the cosmic mind, so is the personal mind.

As is the cosmic body, so is the personal body.

In other words… you are not in the universe — the entire universe rests within you. 🌌

We were all born in the heart of a star, and the same essence that burns in the stars also shines inside you. 💫

When you truly feel this in your bones, it changes everything — how you move through life, how you relate to others, and how you care for yourself. You stop feeling small and start remembering: you are infinite.

Thank you for taking the time to be here today. Does this concept of oneness resonate with you? Reply to this email and let me know! I love hearing from you.

From my heart to yours,

davidji

Leading with love: 18-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Today, I invite you to join me for a beautiful meditation practice. We are going to breathe the love of the universe into our hearts.

In Sanskrit, the heart center is called the Anahata, which means unstruck – because your heart is pure, whole, unconditional, non-judgmental.

There are complexities to the human experience, which translates into us forgetting that pure and whole true nature that we are born of, and that is always available within us. It’s just that we forget, and instead begin to lean into struggle.

But we don’t have to go there! Today, let’s bring a pattern interrupt of love, compassion, peace, acceptance and unconditional loving kindness into our heart, and reawaken that sacred center of our being, so that we can then take that energy into the world with us.

Please join me in this meditation – and receive the following affirmations:

I am Safe … Loved … Whole … Perfect … Abundant … Healed … Forgiven … Love … Strong … Accepted … Happy … Powerful … Infinite … Healthy … and I am Peace.

The sanskrit word Moksha means liberation – physical, emotional and spiritual liberation.

So I invite you to feather your nest – remembering that comfort is queen, and that in order to get to where we are going with our meditation practice, we must ensure we are as comfortable as possible. So take your time to get yourself settled, and then join me in the gap as we melt into this meditation.

Thank you for taking the time to be here today. Which affirmation listed above resonates the most with you? Let me know! I love hearing from you.

From my heart to yours,

davidji

The Guest House: A poem by Rumi

Today I’d like to share with you a timeless poem by the great Sufi poet Rumi.

The Guest House invites us to remember the impermanence of life – everything is temporary, the joy as well as the pain.

When we embrace it all, we live a fully embodied life.

Remember that sometimes the harshest experiences we have during our lives yield the greatest amount of change and growth, becoming our gifts.

Here is the poem in full:

The Guest House, by Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all

Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture.

Still, treat each guest honorably.

He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

I love this poem because it reminds me to embrace the not-so-fun parts of being human.

It’s all here to teach us, and to remind us that we are here to experience it all.

Thank you for taking the time to be here today. Do you love this poem too? If so, let me know! I love hearing from you.

From my heart to yours,

davidji

Let’s Swing: 3-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Today, I invite you to take a 3-minute pause in your day, and transport yourself back to your childhood, swinging in a swing.

Remember what that felt like – carefree, playful, content.

We don’t need to meditate for long periods of time – sometimes just a three-minute pause in the middle of our day to clear our mind and energy can do wonders.

If you love receiving meditations such as this, then I invite you to also consider if you’d like to learn how to offer them to others – to friends, family, and even beyond your personal circle.

Opening Your Chakras: 17-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Ready to open some energy in your body?

Let’s settle in for this 17-minute guided meditation on Opening Your Chakras.

For this meditation, you’ll want to lie down, so create a comfortable space where you can lie comfortably.

We’ll be doing a body scan and checking in with each of our seven Chakras.

But first – what are the chakras? And what are we doing with them in this meditation?

Our bodies have seven main chakras, which are energy centers.

The Chakras are the junction points between your physical body and the ethereal body.

Between the physical, local domain of sound, sensation, sight, smell and taste where we exist in physical form – and the non-physical, non-local domain of the unmanifest.

Here’s a quick overview of each chakra – with their sanskrit name, color, vibration and meaning. I go into further detail about each chakra in the meditation!

Root  = muladhara chakra.

Color is Red, vibration is Laam.

Connection, groundedness, stability.

Sacral = svadhisthana chakra.

Color is Orange. Vibration is Vaam.

Creativite energy, awakening, birth, growth and expansion.

Solar Plexus = manipura chakra.

Color is yellow. Vibration is Raam.

Forward movement. Getting it done. Inner fire.

Heart = anahata chakra.

Color is green. Vibration is Yaam.

Love, compassion, and empathy.

Throat = visshudha chakra.

Color is deep blue. Vibration is Haam.

Expression, permission, your voice in the world.

Third Eye = ajna chakra.

Color is purple. Vibration is Shaam.

Connection to spirit. Intuition, trusting the universe.

Crown = sahasrara chakra.

Color is white / ultraviolet. Vibration is Om.

Pure being. No thinking or doing. All knowing, all-seeing, pure consciousness.

I invite you to come back to this meditation whenever you are feeling like your body, mind and spirit need a reset.

I personally do a chakra meditation every day, just to clear out anything that isn’t serving me!

How (and why!) to Ritualize Your Meditation Practice

Hello, Spiritual Warrior,

Today I invite you to ritualize your practice, so that you can find peace no matter what is going on around you.

Here’s a clip from my recent Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher Training certification week, where we spent a week together on the beach, solidifying our practice and creating a ritual that we wouldn’t be able to live without, even once we were back to our regular daily lives.

The truth is, there will always be distractions.

There will always be traffic noise, or dogs barking, or dings from your phone.

There will always be those things outside of you that are also outside of your control.

But what we can learn to do is to control ourselves, no matter what is going on around us. And we cultivate this practice by ritualizing it.

By letting it be just another part of our day – like brushing our teeth or putting on our clothes.

Once something becomes ritualized, it just becomes a part of what you do.

And remember – this is about consistency, not duration.

Some days you might have just five minutes to spare, and others you might have 25.

How long you meditate doesn’t matter. What matters is that you show up and do it.

Have you ritualized your meditation practice?

I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to write to me at teamdavidji@davidji.com and tell me about it.

P.S. Don’t forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE to my channels to keep your ripple flowing in our community & support this content!!! Check out my Mind Shift membership too  Sending you peace, presence and surrender to the divine within you. Be well.
