Writing has always been the key to my sanity and I have ruined many a relationship to keep it. Dating a writer, let alone any artist is never easy, but at least with a writer, you know that when they say they can't see you it's because we're banging away on a keyboard and not a bimbet backstage or some such...usually (lol).

My first book was in 7th Grade and called "The Little Watering Hole". It was a childrens tale with a very simple message: Size Matters Not. For you geeks out there, yes, that is indeed a Yoda quote. Some Truths are Universal.

I began writing Twilight's tales in 2000 while pregnant with my second daughter, a dark Knowing riding my mind that I would not have her long within this world. So, I made a barter and kept my child, and it was then that the chaos began, saturating my dreams until I wrote them down in the wee hours before dawn.

I do not feel like these are my books. I am but the teller of their tales, a stenographer for the drama that plays out before me as my fingers flash across the keys. I have been told that I'm an "Inspirational Writer". If that means that I plan nothing out and have no more idea what is going to happen on the next page than the reader, then I'll suffer that categorical subjugation...as long as I can still sip my favorite drink and laugh out loud at the insanity that swirls within my mind without wearing a white coat that ties in the back :)

There are those that will hate my books, call them vile and evil and horrid. And there are those that will step into Twilight's world and Remember. I do not write these tales for fame, I have stepped away from that twisted path more than once this lifetime and would have kept these tales within the pagan community I grew up in if it had not been for a fan of my e-book. She sent me an email, thanking me for writing Twilight Calling, and told me how it had helped her heal...and at the end of the day, I am a Healer...but that is a tale for another time.

I am the editor for my books as well as the author, it's not an ideal situation as I write more for flow than grammar, but the numerous editors I contacted had religious or political objections. I do understand though, if Harry Potter had certain groups swearing it was Evil, what would a book that writes about The Craft and other such paganish activities invoke in them? So, I ask that you pardon my grammar, I did my best :)
