The XXIII th hour at Duskland and other news
I’ve been over and over again reviewing and developing my Dark Fantasy short story, “The XXIII th Hour at Duskland”. I know, the tittle is strange, that’s because it refers to the roman numbers of old pendulum clocks. It has roughly 7,5 K words and will be part of an anthology I plan to publish later this year, “Stories of Duskland” with the same characters.
Been thinking to publish two editions: simple (text only) and illustrated. I have already decided on the painting style and mood for the images. I did the research (as the story takes place in England, during the 19th Century. Now I just have to start painting…
Can’t wait to reveal more about this project!
On the other hand, I give continuity to an inspirational art book for Mad Artist Publishing, which focuses on “Artistic Collaboration” and related themes. All guest artists are set and the layout for their part is almost finished. We don’t have a tittle for this one yet…
More news coming soon!
Entreat Me illustrations almost done!
Two illustrations left, a few details to add on some of the finished ones and we are good to go :)
Stories of Duskland now has a Tumblr blog!

Back again and catching up with GoodReads
I am also finishing some of the pending reviews I have on my list! :)
Must share the great news that now I am handling my short story anthology over to a professional editor in England. The full anthology "Stories of Duskland" is coming in March, 2014.

Thank You – And let’s have a creative 2015
Mine were absolutely hectic, and I did almost nothing of what I planned (i.e. reading and advanced house cleaning!). But I did connect with closest family and friends, which was good for the mind and soul.
Before I head any further on this little letter, I’d like to THANK YOU.
In May 2014 I started an adventure on the self-publishing playground and have been absolutely fortunate to come across wonderful people – such as you – who have given me support in many ways. You took of your precious time in provide feedback, supporting my work with reviews and blogposts and nonetheless, purchasing it!
So, what is worth… Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :D \m/
Now that we all said goodbye to 2014 , let’s follow through 2015 with tons of creativity, inspiration, prosperity, achievement and realization. If you’re a reader, I hope you enjoy yourself and enhance your wisdom with great books. If you’re an author, I hope you are the one providing those great books to our community – we thank you for that! :)

I have just published as well “No Escapes VOL. 1 – Melancholic Beauty in Norwegian Landscapes” , which is a reference art book for painters and photographers. It is not a table book, as some may think, but because of the way it is built, it can be enjoyed by pretty much anyone who likes landscapes, arts and photography in general. As the title suggests, the book is melancholic, moody and somewhat dark. The second volume is coming somewhere on the second semester.

See you soon, have a great time!
Back from the Dead and Q&A
As the old saying goes… What doesn’t kill me, makes me stronger.
I am back, and glad to be around GoodReads again!
Speaking of which…

Whether you have read the book or consider reading it, shoot your questions to my author’s Q&A session here on GoodReads, or leave a comment in this post. Feel also free to send me a private message. I won’t reveal any names in the video, so all those who participate will have their identities preserved.
If I have any questions by the time to record the video, I will do my best to answer you :) And I will post a link here to let everybody know when it is online at Tragic Books' Youtube Channel.
Cheers and have a great time, folks! :)

Youtube Channel Launch, Free Gothic Music Download & More!

Hell-o, dear dark souls! Hope February has treated you right and that you had a cozy Valentine’s, if you celebrate this Holiday. :-)
This month has been a bit of a struggle for me as I have been sick with an apocalyptic flue and cold, coughing and whatnot! So I almost couldn’t make the Youtube Channel launch happen… But I found an opportunity this week and I took it.
I am very happy to start this journey talking about my books, discussing self-publishing, writing and of course, doing Gothic Books reviews! And I hope this channel will be both entertaining and helpful to you.
In the first video I am talking about The Night of Elisa – how the book was born and the process behind it writing & publishing it. It is scheduled for TODAY, Saturday 24th Feb, 8:00 PM or 20:00 hrs OSLO time, or GMT + 0100. I’m looking forward to seeing you there and hearing from you!
Here’s the link for the scheduled video: https://youtu.be/UzpfLw3xoXU
