The Merry Chri-Dwi-Han-Ed-Box-Hog-Nic-Pos-Bod-Kwan-Stice Sale!

They're Heeeerrrree! (The winter holidays not some demonic entity that enjoys playing with television snow, clowns and tequila.)

It’s time to spend too much, eat too much and poison your love for the holidays until they’re gone (after which you’ll miss them). The world is shinier, people are pretending to be nicer, everyone’s greed is showing and all around the world cities and towns are lit up like Christmas trees on speed-infused steroids - emitting enough light pollution to blind our outer-worldly guests as they whiz(z) through space. (Says she who puts no less than 1,000 lights on her 5-6 foot Christmas tree every year. Note: Douglas Firs rule!).

In honor of this most sacred period, I have gifts for all - no reciprocal decade old fruit cake required! (Though you can feel free to send me all of the non-toxic presents you like)!

On Smashwords: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi... NO COUPON REQUIRED.

As Barnes and Noble and pretty much all of my other retailers get their electronic editions through Smashwords, the prices will drop at most of my vendors as well within a few days of this posting.

Unfortunately, Amazon has minimum pricing that they will not drop below UNLESS someone happens to point out that another retailer is carrying the same ebook for a lower price (hint. hint) http://freebies2deals.com/2012/11/how...

And please don't forget to review. Reviews are better than a turkey induced coma and good things happen to Grea Alexander reviewers!

Enjoy!

Compilation Editions

Yes, finally.

Compilation Editions of both the Amarna Series & the Rebellion Series are coming down the pipe within the next week.

Rebellion

While I try to write my serials in such a way that one can pick up any book in the series and understand what's happening, my books build upon each other and add an even deeper level of meaning to the occurrences in the book that follows.

Enjoy!

Top 100 on Amazon!

As of this morning Amarna I: Ida is in the Top 100 Paid books for both Ancient Historical Fiction and Ancient Middle Eastern Fiction right along with authors such as Wilbur Smith, Elisabeth Storrs, Celeste Barclay, Libbie Hawker, Steven Saylor & Clive Cussler.

Amarna III: Raia is ALSO in the Top 100 Paid for Ancient Historical Fiction.

My poor book II is always so neglected and underrated though people tend to buy all 3 in the series. (laugh) It sits right outside of the Top 100.

Honestly, what it really comes down to is timing. These lists change quickly. Hourly to be precise. Book II just wasn't purchased enough within the same time period as the Book I & III buys and thus didn't make the time cut off for the ranking update.

So, "technically" I am and have been an Amazon Bestselling Author quite a few times. However, I'm not one who is quick to change my covers and bios to say so as I tend to jump off and on the lists.

When I have a book that stays in the Top 100 for at least a week, then I'll consider it.

Still, it's fun to see and laugh about.

Cheers!

DAY 3: Amarna 2 Has Its Day on Amazon Top 100 Paid Charts

Ok, as of this morning, Amarna 2 has had a resurgence.

Amarna Book II Book of Hawara by Grea Alexander

https://drive.google.com/open?id=19Yz...

(You can do it little book!)

It finally made it's way on the same 2 Top 100 Paid charts as 1 & 3: Historical Middle Eastern Fiction & Ancient Historical Fiction....only after 1 & 3 have fallen off. (laugh) (They're hanging out just outside. As in where 2 was hanging out yesterday.)

Could they all 3 have been in these charts at once? Possibly. It has happened before.

However, while it's fun to actually document as Amarna jumps on and off the charts, it's not so fun that I actually want to dedicate once an hour all day trying to catch it.

I figure if I'm meant to catch the phenomenon I will.

In all honesty, it's day 3 of checking and I'm already exhausted. (laugh) Watching reviews, sales, etc. constantly is like watching paint dry. It takes up too much time that could better used otherwise and the anticipation/anxiety associated with the wait can drive you insane. Therefore, I try to refrain.

Still, until I wake up and none are on the charts, I'll check just to see if I can make it an entire week and officially be an "Amazon Bestselling Author" (though the reality remains that until I can 100% support myself in the lifestyle to which I wish to become accustomed, I still wont really feel like an Amazon Bestselling Author).

Cheers!

Historical Middle Eastern Fiction:

Ancient Historical Fiction

Rignt now it's just outside of the top 100 with its friends Amarna Book I: Book of Ida & Amarna Book II: Book of Hawara.

Can the Amarna books keep dipping their toes into the Amazon Top 100 for 2 more days?

Stay tuned to find out!

DAY 6: AMAZON TOP 100

Ok, did I make it for Day 6?

Apparently I did...sometime last night but missed it. (laugh)

This morning, as I logged in to re-release some of my boxsets, I noticed sales for Amarna for both yesterday evening (Amarna I) and this morning (Amarna III). This means that sometime last night, Amarna I edged back onto the Top 100 charts. Though I missed it yesterday, it was still there this morning.

Also, based on Amarna III sales so far this morning, it's likely I will make Day 7 as well.

However, folks I find this constant check in on my numbers stressful and exhaustin. Therefore, I QUIT! (laugh)

Thank you to all of my supporters, fans and customers! Without you, an indie upstart like me couldn't have possibly given the Top 100 Paid Stalwarts a run for their money.

Anyone that's interested to see if any of the Amarna ebooks have snuck back into the Amazon Top 100 for their categories can easily do so. Just click into the title and scroll down towards the bottom of the page.

Sales ranking is listed at the bottom of "Product Details": https://www.amazon.com/Grea-Alexander...

Cheers!

Amarna Books: Amazon Top 100 Bestsellers UPDATE

I finally caught them!

Right now, all three Amarna books (Amarna Book I: Book of Ida , Amarna Book II: Book of Hawara & Amarna Book III: Book of Raia) are on the Top 100 Kindle Paid for both Ancient Historical Fiction & Middle Eastern Historical Fiction on Amazon US!

Amarna I has also hit a foreign Top 100 list! Which one? Keep reading to find out.

Amazon US Top 100 Paid Ancient Historical Fiction

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Npk...

In addition, Amarna I has snuck its way onto the Top 100 UK for Middle Eastern Historical Fiction...at 29! My highest Top 100 ranking EVER.

Amazon UK Top 100 Paid Ancient Historical Fiction

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KQf...

That puts me on three different Amazon Top 100 Paid Bestseller lists in 2 different countries.
Not bad for a little ole indie of color. (wink)

How am I doing this?

No idea!

But if you're curious as to what all the fuss is about, you could always go over to Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, etc., buy your own copy and see for yourself. (wink)

Now if only I could figure out how to get my Fantasy/Horror Titles onto some of these lists. (laugh)

While it's pretty entertaining when I beat the likes of James Clavell, Libbie Hawker, James A. Michener, Noah Gordon and Steven Pressfield (and that a day or so ago, I was even ahead of Anne Rice), I still won't consider myself a "bestselling author" until I earn enough to live off of my book earnings alone.

Still, it's a great laugh and quite exciting.

Thank you to GOD for always supporting your wayward charge...even when I don't deserve it; and thank you everyone out there with just enough questionable taste to invest in my work (AKA those who love my books enough to buy them)!
