Living on a farm, going to 18 schools before I even started high school, living in some major cities, like Los Angeles and Detroit, make me pretty diverse. After a long and adventurous life, I remain dedicated to Green issues and a passionate lover of all the outdoors at least a mile from any highway or road. I love writing and have done so since I was a kid, and reading is a close second. I also love to travel but like to take my trips long and leisurely. Consequently, I travel cheap and for months at a time to exotic destinations: Peru, India, China, etc. Travel Wings is my first published book, and I am working on another about alternative medicine cures for cancer (also a memoir). Other works report in more detail on the actual voyage, but the journals of passengers after the crossing are fascinating. I have since read all of the journals, which give a much better picture of the political and social life of these immigrants.
