Suzanne McKenna Link is the author of the SAVE ME SERIES featuring SAVING TOBY, KEEPING CLAUDIA and FINDING EDWARD and her latest novel, #GIRLFIGHT. Each story is a heartfelt and emotional journey of a young person struggling with family, love, and understanding exactly who they are.

A native Long Islander, Suzanne writes the kind of stories she enjoys reading: ones that pull readers to dark emotional depths, but also uplift and inspire. (*Bonus points if they make her laugh along the way)

It's a story about a small town's first female wrestler who is pressured to take an MMA fight against her ex's new girlfriend to save her family's home. She's trained by her former high school coach's son — a guy she has unfinished business with. He's going to hold her feet to the fire, push her past what she believes she's capable of, and reawaken the attraction she once felt for him all over again. This time, though, it will be finished. All books that have been passed on to me and recommended by the loner. So, my hit list for this summer currently includes Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, Leaving Time by Jodie Picoult, Shanghai Girls by Lisa See and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

My editor said my new book Keeping Claudia has strong Pride and Prejudice feel to it. Though I've seen the 2005 movie with Keira Knightley, I'm embarrassed to admit, I've never read the book!(less)

The Move Part 1

 The Move Part 1:

This is hard!!

According to Google AI, on average, Americans move 11.7 times during their lifetime.

Me, I’ve moved once—from my childhood home to the one I’ve shared with my husband since we married. As a result, I had no idea how difficult the process could be — physically as well as emotionally.

My husband and I (empty nesters) have been talking about moving

I'm late to the game reading this book. Emily Giffin is a kind of new-to-me author. I only just recently read one of her books before this. And while I enjoyed Giffin's writing in this book as her other, it was a highly stressful read. Who was kissin ...more

“Focusing on what I want, and what I need to do to get it, seems like such a small change in mindset, but it’s made a huge difference. I feel almost … invincible.

“I’d waited for this opportunity with Claudia for a long time—ever since elementary school when I tried to impress her on the monkey bars and woo her with my crayon drawings. But I couldn’t have been with her any sooner. You can’t expect someone to love a shadow.”
