IMPORTANT TO ME AND THE US
If you have never served in the United States Military (or your own countries) then I guess it may be easy to misunderstand the service. There are many military jobs that correlate to the civilian world. (Although none of these are 9-5.) So I forgive you for losing the purpose of the military if that was how you once served. It has been said many times before me but please allow me to reiterate:“The purpose of the military is to kill people and blow things up.” -unknown butsimple and brilliant.
The Author in the 82nd Airborne (late 80's)If you do not understand this or disagree (the same thing), let me make it as clear as possible-Once engaged the military kills and destroys the enemy until they give up- (at least pre-1950’s concept) how’s that for simple? Now to ensure the success of this complicated stratagem, the military (I know the Army) set a promotion point system to make sure the deadliest, meanest, toughest, and smartest fighters get moved up the ranks. You can make these moves from the lowest recruit- private (E-1) through specialist (E-4) through time and service (basically.)You earn promotion points by making yourself the deadliest warrior you can be. Go to air assault school, earn promotion points. Go Airborne, more points, off to Ranger school, sniper school, demolitions Special warfare, etc. you will make it to Sargent Major in no time.Or like me, you may find it more fun to go through those early ranks several times (Oh what fun Uncle Ed was) Ask me for bonus points. This is no social experiment.Hopefully this OBVIOUSLY explains how a man makes himself part of the above described military solution to the countries problem. This is not just THE MOST IMPORTANT task of the military, but the most important part of trying to keep your brothers, husbands, and sons alive while they are out fighting! Please think about them and their families before entering the conversation. You can’t allow the PC crowd to make being female or Trans…Trans anything…an important factor- it has nothing to do with the purpose..

"Big" is not better
I make no bones about my disdain for big government and for what it matters big business. I don’t believe that “big” makes something evil, but mostly due to the fact that big makes it more susceptible to defending itself against any and all reforms no matter how much sense those reforms make.
I love competition and capitalism but that means we have to see stories like the one this Christmas where Chevy plans to close down 5 American plants while keeping all the foreign plants open; meanwhile the CEO takes home 22 million a year! I don’t think that this is capitalisms flaw but that of boards that don’t do their job and the concept of CEOs as unreplaceable no matter their performance (why I have complained in the past about “golden parachutes.”)Big unions have bloated hierarchy that plays a con-game of taking money from the pockets of their members to give to politicians who then give favors back to the union leaders. Often these favors are new laws that effect other companies and non-union shops.Media.Main Stream Media.I watch it all and believe that the biggest issue I see repeated is the withholding/not-reporting of issues.CNN and MSNBC often have complete blackouts of stories yet continually repeat “news” like this: “Our sources tell us that the president is isolated and angry.” – CNN anchor.Seriously?Opinion is fine if that is what the show is about; I do appreciate when a station brings in opposing views, although I don’t believe in opposing spin- facts should be front and center.I love me a good conspiracy story (I hope a write a pretty good one anyway) I do tiptoe around some of those being spun in the presidents favor; I want all the facts out before I make final conclusions! Two things about this story: Mueller Investigation.1.) It rings true of “Big” government. Remember that Comey barked back at a republican congressman that when he signed the FISA warrant, it WAS NOT to confirm the accuracy of the information it contained, but to confirm that the correct people had signed it before him. Do you see how corrupt this is? This however is typical of big government- the safety measures of getting multiple eyes on something to ensure accuracy gets turned into a procedure to get signatures. In business audits they would often have a question that stated something like this:“Manger signs document to ensure review.” Well-meaning but often the signature was just a signature before the document was filed- nothing was reviewed. Hillary famously said at the Benghazi hearing- “that didn’t rise to my level”The bureaucracy has so many “failsafe’s” that when it does fail, nobody can be held responsible.2.)The judges probably don’t even read these things- they trust the before mentioned signature requirements that we now understand are meaningless. The judges don’t have to be part of a conspiracy, just a big bloated worthless bureaucratic wasted paper trail.Begin to point any of this out and the natural state of “big” is to circle the wagons and begin to deny and then to cover.Big media first instinct is to go along (especially the Democrat media outlets.)End

American Neanderthal
My support of Donald Trump as President has grown from his election; the “never-Trumpers”embedded in the Republican Party are one of the biggest reasons why.Whenever there is a person sipping tea, pinky held high claiming the proper bonafides to comment, teach, or rule/govern; I usually hope that someone steps in and slaps that person silly. This of course identifies me as an unthinking animal incapable of putting thoughts together to make a coherent argument; a caveman.Actually I understand the history that created our founding fathers beliefs that created this representative republic.Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: "A republic, if you can keep it."And from that moment on there have been those that have tried to destroy it.I keep hearing about the designs to help me, the “little guy”, by those described above, but all I see are those that desire power consolidate it in a way that embeds them into money and office.Woodrow Wilson: Godfather of Liberalism:“Based on his objection to the separation of powers and his general objection to the Founders’ understanding of government, Wilson put forth a series of institutional proposals designed in one way or another to overcome the fixed notion of politics that is at the heart of limited government.”So forgive me for hoping that those smug bastards exit with bloody noses and tails between their legs; good riddance.
As I always say, I write to entertain, if you enjoy some intrigue with smash mouth action come read my Gordan Hudde series, and please leave a review!

Hypocrisy
I am a Christian. You don’t have to watch me too closely to observe hypocrisy; I do try, but I am a sinner. My personal demons I guess have at times been a two edged sword.I’ve gotten older, slower, and weaker so too have my “issues”, you should understand that I may have gotten wiser at the same time.Anyway, at one of my last jobs I did not cower and “fall into line” when the vague threats started. It’s not in my nature, even when it is a no win situation. So I listened to this tune (don’t be afraid) cranked too high, set my jaw, and marched into the bosses office, the director’s office, and the corporate attorney’s office and flipped them the bird each and every time.It didn’t end well.My favorite pastor of a church I once went to (a combat marine from the Vietnam era) once said:“without morals and beliefs that one tries to live up to, you can’t have hypocrisy.”It made sense to me then and now.Don’t be the person with no hypocrisy.

Interviews & Interrogations
With the latest crimes sweeping the news media and creating a stir on social networks let me shine some light on one of the meme’s I keep hearing and reading: “Could these crimes be stopped in advance?”Quick answer: Unfortunately most of the time; no.The FBI contacted and interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev well before the Boston Bombing.https://www.cbsnews.com/news/did-the-... gunman of the Pulse nightclub, Omar Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida, was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014 but was not found to be a threat, the FBI said.https://www.cnn.com/2016/06/12/us/orl... F.B.I. received a tip about Nikolas Cruz (the Parkland, Florida school shooter) but they did not forward the tip to local field office.https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/16/us... above information does not depress or concern me; let me explain further. Why? Because we have a constitution with rules and procedures to protect the individual (unless you fall into the FISA court I guess.) Let’s say you get angry (choose any topic) and tell your neighbor in a heated moment that you want to “kill” someone. Is that enough to get you thrown into prison? Let’s hope not. Do you have a history of violence? Do you have an arrest record? These things may help in coming to a personal conclusion but was a crime committed here and is it enough for a jury to convict? That last one is THE big question and one that was probably discussed and reviewed in the above cases. With the known AND provable evidence at hand could an investigator/attorney get a conviction? (Please, let’s not even consider all the political questions that the district or federal attorneys begin to ask themselves!)I guarantee that if not, then every investigator hopes that the contact alone may change behavior.Right? You may be angry that your neighbor called the authorities on you but maybe you WERE “just blowing off steam” and have no intentions on carrying out the violence you bragged about; maybe that will cause you to cool off and understand that you should think before you speak. Should your rights be taken away for this one incident? However; the flip side of the coin is maybe this contact by police sends you further over the edge and is the “straw that breaks the camel’s back” so to speak?Another item I think worthy of pointing out is that the FBI is after all FEDERAL and therefor has limited number of potential crimes under their authority.A little FBI history for you: While the congress created federal authorities and ever expanded their power, the FBI was not begun until the year 1908.They had a tiny amount of power and even a smaller staff until two huge things converged in 1924 when J. Edgar Hoover took over control of the FBI and prohibition became a boon to criminal enterprises. The FBI was concerned about the amount of local communication between agencies and allocation of forces (maybe one county went after a criminal while another ignored them.) Hoover was a driving force in getting congress to pass new federal laws giving his organization the ability to grow in stature and power.Personally I find too much power in Washington and wish it were not so, look at the politicization of the FBI and DOJ over the last few years.Anyway, how about local authorities? https://www.naplesnews.com/story/news... here was an opportunity missed and I guess that it happens over and over in towns and cities all across the country; but I don’t believe that it is always due to incompetence or lack of concern. You see stories where the power of the government swings into full force to take possessions (cars, guns, and homes) even children from people where it appears extreme, and then see a situation like Cruz where people seem to run away from an obvious issue (that’s obvious to us after the fact, correct?)What I would like you to do for a moment is to put yourself in the chair of the investigator siting across a table from a subject. What evidence do you get that makes you believe a person should be “locked up.”Let’s pretend that the subject is combative and you believe he/she may be dangerous!Great what proof is collected? Seriously, unless the person says some self-incriminating things and then allows you to search their home where you find bomb making materials lying around, what do you get from a conversation?I’ll tell you because I have done this myself…you get a feeling…a “vibe” and that’s usually a best case scenario. But folks let me tell you, this can’t be enough for a country based on individual freedom. What I did was for businesses, and many times it was not even enough to get someone fired. In business you have rules, sometime unions too. My lord people, workers often get 2 or 3 times getting caught under the influence at work before you could fire them, God forget if they were smart enough to tell their managers and go to HR admitting to them that they had a drug or alcohol addiction! One such case I had to interview a subject that had threatened someone with a box cutter. The witness/victim did not want to press charges but was concerned about continuing to work with this guy.My ultimate problem with the suspect was that he tried to say that he was “just joking” and from other witness interviews I could determine that this man WAS upset and on edge; not just about work but he appeared to have a bunch of personal problems going on in his life. I forwarded his name to the HR department to see if they could offer counseling and encouraged this individual to contact the union to ask for the same if he wanted help.Remember this guy said he was fine and just joking around; horseplay that maybe went too far.I suspended this individual so that we could ensure a complete investigation; evaluate the information, as well as to allow the guy to cool off and possibly go look for counseling or something. I have no idea if the company would have fired him based on the “weak” victims’ statement and my “feeling” after the interview. He went home and killed himself.Cold analysis: This subject could have “lost it” at work and hurt or killed some innocent; good case.Human side: Did the suspension with possible loss of work compounded with personal issues send him over the edge?Don’t simplify these horrific crimes by allowing some talking head on TV convince you that a police contact or FBI interview could or would make a difference, you have too high of expectations if you believe this. Almost all arrest are after the crime, not before; if you want to believe in these theories may I suggest the movie Minority Report with Tom Cruise: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0181689/...
I spent 1000's of hours sitting in chairs across from "suspects" and due to my investigation have spent many hours testifying to judges and juries; if you have any questions please feel free to contact me via Facebook or this page!
