IMPORTANT TO ME AND THE US
If you have never served in the United States Military (or your own countries) then I guess it may be easy to misunderstand the service.There are many military jobs that correlate to the civilian world. (Although none of these are 9-5.) So I forgive you for losing the purpose of the military if that was how you once served.It has been said many times before me but please allow me to reiterate:“The purpose of the military is to kill people and blow things up.” -unknown butsimple and brilliant.
The Author in the 82nd Airborne (late 80's)If you do not understand this or disagree (the same thing), let me make it as clear as possible-Once engaged the military kills and destroys the enemy until they give up- (at least pre-1950’s concept) how’s that for simple?Now to ensure the success of this complicated stratagem, the military (I know the Army) set a promotion point system to make sure the deadliest, meanest, toughest, and smartest fighters get moved up the ranks.You can make these moves from the lowest recruit- private (E-1) through specialist (E-4) through time and service (basically.)You earn promotion points by making yourself the deadliest warrior you can be. Go to air assault school, earn promotion points. Go Airborne, more points, off to Ranger school, sniper school, demolitions Special warfare, etc. you will make it to Sargent Major in no time.Or like me, you may find it more fun to go through those early ranks several times (Oh what fun Uncle Ed was) Ask me for bonus points.This is no social experiment.Hopefully this OBVIOUSLY explains how a man makes himself part of the above described military solution to the countries problem.This is not just THE MOST IMPORTANT task of the military, but the most important part of trying to keep your brothers, husbands, and sons alive while they are out fighting! Please think about them and their families before entering the conversation.You can’t allow the PC crowd to make being female or Trans…Trans anything…an important factor- it has nothing to do with the purpose..
