Twilight Is Turning Twenty This Year – I’m heading to Forks!

It’s hard to believe, but Twilight turns 20 this year – and I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate this milestone than with all of you — the readers who made this story what it is.

I will be in Forks this September for the Forever Twilight in Forks Festival. We have some fun events planned for you (and maybe a few surprises).

Thursday the Eleventh — I’ll be joining the Welcome to Forks Party for a special Q&A. This is a free event, open to everyone! Can’t make it to Forks? If all goes acc...

Exciting news & and a fresh new look

Hey everybody,

Welcome to the new, streamlined website. It was time to do some upgrades and simplifications. Hopefully you find it easy to navigate and access the almost twenty years of content we’ve compiled here.

In update news, you might have heard about the new animated Midnight Sun adaptation with Netflix. I’m super excited to work with the amazing people at Netflix, and to see the world of Twilight without any of the restraints of live action. I think we’re going to be able to make someth...

Celebrating Two Years of Midnight Sun

In honor of the anniversary of Midnight Sun’s publication, I wanted to give you all a gift. Some
of you have probably already discovered this gift, but for those of you who haven’t, I hope you
enjoy it as much as I do.

The book playlists are fluid things. One of the hazards of putting them together is that a month or a year after you’ve revealed all the perfect songs for any given book, you will suddenly hear a new, MORE perfect song that absolutely has to be on the list. Luckily, anniversaries...

After You’ve Finished Midnight Sun, Read this…

Some of you might still be reading Midnight Sun (we know, its long), but if you are on the hunt for something to fill the void, you should check out some of the amazing suggestions Stephenie mentioned during the book tour.

THE MURDERBOT DIARIES by Martha Wells

The series starts with All Systems Red and is followed by five more glorious books.

As a heartless killing machine, I was a complete failure.

In a corporate-dominated spacefaring future, planetary missions must be approved and...

And our favorite BFF Twilight Memories are…

Hey guys,

Thank you SO much for sending in your BFF Twilight Memories. They were DELIGHTFUL. It brought back all the fun I’ve had over the years with my Twilight friends. I laughed, I cried. The only problem is how do you pick one memory as the best? They were all the best. So I picked one that seemed to encapsulate the real heart of it all. Because what if we didn’t have each other? How awful would that be?

Congratulations @twilightdreaam and @_suntopian_! You’ll be receiving the ...

How did Alice and Jasper Meet? AKA The Twilight Storytellers Short Films

During the virtual book tour for Midnight Sun, Stephenie received a lot of questions asking for more details about many of the other characters in the Twilight series. You can find lots of detailed information about all the character’s backstories in The Official Illustrated Guide (which is not in print at the moment but you can get a Kindle version here.)

But wait! There’s more…

In 2014, Stephenie teamed up with Lionsgate, Tongal, Women in Film and Facebook to create Storytellers: New Vo...

Midnight Sun — Interesting Questions

Over the years, I’ve had several reporters ask me, “What’s a question you wish someone would ask you, but no one ever has?” And I can never think of an answer. It feels like every question possible has at one point or another been asked. However, during the Midnight Sun press tour, I got several questions that were either totally new to me, or an unexpected twist on an old question. It was a lot of fun for me to think about some new angles. Since most of these questions are from international in...

Don’t call it a podcast, podcast

Stephenie’s playlists are almost as equally anticipated as her books themselves. And there are always a lot of questions about the magic behind them. Stephenie usually has a chance to answer those questions during her book tours but Covid has taken that opportunity from all of us. So, we had to get creative.

For ONE TIME ONLY, we’d like to introduce a podcast of sorts. Wherein Stephenie sits down with her quarantine buddy, Meghan, and discusses each song, why it made the playlist, how it inf...

Watch: The Midnight Sun Book Tour!

One of the hardest parts of not being about to do a traditional book tour for Midnight Sun was not seeing all your faces IN PERSON! But 2020 is all about trying new things (like eating outdoors in 90 degree weather with a mask on your face!), and we held some great online hangouts during our virtual book tour!

The International Hangouts:

Our International Publishers held contests where lucky winners were able to participate in a hangout with Stephenie. Because there were 100 million di...

Thank You For Making This “Tour” Fun

So it was a really strange release for Midnight Sun, as we all witnessed, and it could have been a big bummer. But you guys were so awesome with your enthusiasm and your participation, it ended up being pretty dang cool. So thank you! For your viewing pleasure, here was one of my favorite parts of the release, the gorgeous pictures you shared from the drive-in events. It’s so great to get to see your beautiful faces and your fun masks and general lovableness. Seeing these photos reminds me of al...
