There is a sequel called The Hypnotic City that is already written and will be published probably sometime next year (official date hasn't been set yet). In a way it is more of a companion than a sequel - The Heartless City is conclusive and doesn't end on a cliffhanger - but it takes place a couple of years later and follow a minor character in Heartless (Philomena) who becomes the protagonist of her own story in a new adventure in Hypnotic. :)(less)

I'm so glad you liked the book! I hadn't planned on writing a sequel when I first wrote The Heartless City (it just kind of popped into my head out of nowhere afterwards), so I'd never thought about giving the series a name...I think I will check in with my agent/publishers to see what they think about giving it one - thanks for the suggestion! And yes, I am planning to write a third book, but I am only in the very early brainstorming stages right now. I love Cam so much (he makes an appearance in the second book, The Hypnotic City, as do Elliot, Iris, and Andrew) and he will definitely figure in somehow. I hadn't thought about his POV though...hmmm...maybe! :)(less)

Dare We Dream #6

Here's Dare We Dream #6! The final chapter in my serialized short story for the Kansas Newspapers for Education. Enjoy!

Chapter Six            “What did you think?” Frankie asked as she and Susan rose from their seats and joined the crowd flowing toward the lobby.            “It was…” Susan bit her lip. “It was wonderful. And awful.”            “Exactly,” Frankie exclaimed. “And now I don’t know wh Read more of this blog post »

Dust Spells by Andrea Lynn
"I cannot say enough how wonderful it is to enjoy a story from an authentic Kansas voice. I had no idea how much I needed to hear a Kansas story written by a Kansan for it was utterly satisfying.

Without a better term coming to mind, I thoroughly enjoy" Read more of this review »

Dust Spells by Andrea Lynn
"I rarely read YA or romance but am a huge fan of Andrea Lynn’s TikTok series on fairytales so had to check this out. This was a lovely story set in a fun and well-researched historical setting. While marketed as a fairytale retelling, this work is hi" Read more of this review »

Dust Spells by Andrea Lynn

Dust Spells by Andrea Lynn

Oh, yay! I was so sad LOL. Stupid technology. Thanks for messaging me. I can't wait to read your book too! :)

I also saw you have a sequel - is it through CQ as well? I have a sequel/spinoff coming out with CQ in August, but it doesn't have a goodreads page yet. Just curious! :)

Thanks again for messaging me. :)
