Books in the front of the store
It was Nina, my seven-year old daughter who noticed a stack of my books on the front table in the Watchung Bookstore. Bad Marie and Twins. And notecard with my name and the date of my reading and the title of my new book. Which was wasn't on the pile because it isn't out yet. Soon.
This is now our bookstore. We live a block away.
I was surprised by how happy I felt. It was such a surprise. It has been a long time since I have seen one of my books in an actual bookstore and I felt hopeful and good.

Irina also read and was interviewed. Or, perhaps it is better say, was in conversation with...
I will be in conversation with some incredible writers. Emily St John Mandel, Megan Abbott, Robin Black, Lizzie Skurnick, Pamela Erens, It seems sort of nuts, typing this list, but it is true.
