I preordered a hardback copy of The Slanted Gutter from Barnes and Nobles and found out that it wasn't being released. Was wondering if and when the release of it will be? Really looking forward to it. I own all of your work and excited for your future stuff.

Thanks for your interest. Order The Slanted Gutter through Amazon--that book and my debut graphic novel are both scheduled to be released in mid-October.

I hope "The Slanted Gutter" and your graphic novel continue to drive you even further to success in the future, Mr. Zahler. I would like to know, if possible, if you can tell when you start directing a new movie. Since 2017 it is said that "Hug Chickenpenny" was going to become a film.

Thanks for your support. In addition to drawing my second graphic novel, I am moving a few different movie projects forward right now, but it is a tricky time to set up and realize a motion picture, so I don't yet have a concrete answer on which will be the next one, though Hug Chickenpenny is definitely amongst these projects.
