It was quite a sight!

Travis and I just arrived at a Publix and getting out of the car, a duck started walking right up to Travis all the way across from the parking lot! The duck stayed toward Travis and seemingly was walking around and near him.

Travis didn't know how else to react except to go inside the grocery store and buy this duck some bread to feed it as soon as we were done buying our grocery items for the night.

And sure enough, that duck greeted Travis as he came out of the store, this time getting fed from Travis to his heart's desire... of bread.

I couldn't help but think about how God operates.

If we make room for Him, if we make an effort to come into His presence, if we make ourselves known to the Creator and demand attention from heaven....

If we knock on the door of Heaven with prayer, if we stay in the presence of the Lord through worship and linger in the conversations about God with our fellow Believers...

then God will see this effort we make...how we cling to His side...how we come to Him...how we show ourselves loyal to His Kingdom...

And he will enter through Heaven's storeroom and bring out a blessing for us so that we are fed and satisfied through His hand.

Stay by God and receive His favor!
