Have you ever had something that at first, didn't seem like a blessing.

It seemed like a bad thing, a liability in your life.

I know of a woman who bought a dog that she wasn't getting along with at first. The dog was too rumbustious and constantly needing attention and she was just not ready to commit to another puppy in the house. The dog would get into everything: tearing up clothes, furniture and ripping up things on the cabinet. This was a high-energy dog.

The woman nearly regretted purchasing this puppy.

Then a little time later, tragedy struck her life. And she needed a constant companion to emotionally support her through life's challenges. And that puppy - who was a nuisance before - came to her aid. The dog detected this woman's distress and became loyal to his owner. The woman would hold the dog at night and cry. The dog was there for her and stayed by her side.

And a forever bond grew.

Don't be so quick to toss aside every little annoyance in your life - be it a friend, a co-worker, a family member or even a new furry addition to your life. You'll be surprised what a God-send they truly are!
