I work in Marketing as a side job and I was reading an article about sales, dealing with the public and closing deals. And the author of the article made sure to point out that the word NO means:

N.O. = Next One

I thought that was so profound, not just in my job, but in life.

When I face rejection with a publisher, it's the Next One who will sign me a contract.

When I feel like my friends are nowhere to be found, it's the Next One who will be a source of encouragement in my life.

When I am unable to book sales or find new clients at my job, it's the Next One who will be thrilled and receptive to what I have to say.

Don't take someone saying "No" too harshly. It's just means the Next One is right around the corner, and the Next One is going to say "Yes"!
