Today I learned “étape” is the French word for “stage”, a “wag” is someone who is very eccentric or very amusing, and a “bilge” is the lowest internal part of a ship.

With respect to my upcoming book, I have another new character with an antagonist on the way. Their interaction will be…interesting. I’m elated with how everything is coming together!
