Today I Learned and Upcoming Book Update 9

What’s going on, Goodreads!

Today I learned the “$” symbol was first used for the Spanish American peso and a naïf means someone who is naïve, as the French word for naïve is naïf. Additionally, in 1937 a couple (Walter Frederick Morrison and Lucile Nay) on Santa Monica Beach tossed popcorn can lids to each other and a year later, finding out the lids dented too easily, they decided to use upturned cake pans instead and would sell them to beachgoers on the spot. Thus, the Frisbee concept was created.

Update on my upcoming book –
The next section of my upcoming book has begun! New protagonist almost finished and I hope to get started on the antagonist tomorrow as well. I’m more than pleased!

Thanks so much for reading and have a good day!
