Legacy of the Brightwash by Krystle Matar is book one in the Tainted Dominion series. This has been on my radar for a long time; I’ve heard nothing but praise for it, and I finally got the chance to read it! I devoured this dark/gaslamp fantasy, a novel of almost 700 pages.
