The tragic story of Kaylee Mary Antonee is told with a kind of urgency and honesty that makes every page feel like you’re standing in that courtroom, feeling the outrage of a community that just couldn’t accept the verdict.

What really got to me was the way Mitchell blends fact with fiction to such a masterful degree.
