Nửa ly nước, nói là đầy nửa ly cũng đúng, nói là lưng nửa ly cũng đúng. Bạn có thể tự chọn cách tư duy. Phần lớn mọi bạn sẽ nói: “Đương nhiên tôi chọn tư duy tích cực”; nhưng phần lớn các bạn, vì thói quen, thực sự tư duy tiêu cực – giận ghét, đấu đá, đâm sau lưng nhau, nói xấu nhau, bắt lỗi nhau, nói chung là ứng xử với mọi người và cuộc đời với một trái tim đầy tiêu cực. Người tiêu cực chẳng tin vào ai và chỉ tin vào khả năng sống sót của mình “trong cuộc đời cá lớn nuốt cá bé, người nịnh diệt người trung, người ác thắng người thiện.”

Nhưng có một điều này các bạn cần để ý: Thế giới là “thế giới cá lớn nuốt cá bé, người nịnh diệt người trung, người ác thắng người thiện.” Nhưng nếu chỉ có thế thôi thì trái đất đã bị nổ tung và biến mất lâu rồi, và mọi dân tộc đã bị diệt chủng lâu rồi. Nhưng thực sự là thế giới loài người vẫn còn sống mạnh cho đến ngày nay, với những phát minh về mọi mặt – IT, y học, luật học, giáo dục, âm nhạc, hội họa, bình đẳng, dân chủ, quyền làm người, dân quyền, hệ thống chính trị tam quyền độc lập – lập pháp, tư pháp và hành pháp, khám phá không gian và các hành tinh khác…

Nghĩa là, nhìn thật rõ ràng thì thế giới con người vẫn phát triển rất tốt qua nhiều ngàn năm dù là con người vẫn thanh trừng nhau qua mấy chục ngàn năm. Đó là vì thế giới luôn có những người thiện lành giữ vững thế giới – các thầy lớn như Phật Thích Ca, Chúa Giêsu, Tiên tri Muhammad, thánh Gandhi, Saint Paul, Saint Francis of Assisi, và rất nhiều vị thánh, Bồ-tát, A-la-hán, cùng rất nhiều đệ tử và tín đồ của các vị, lo sống thiện lành và tạo năng lượng tích cực bền vững cho thế giới.

Cho nên, lấy lịch sử làm bài học, các bạn hãy giữ vững niềm tin rằng những người thiện lành của thế giới có khả năng chống đỡ thế giới, dù thế giới có vẻ tồi tệ đến thế nào.

Hãy giữ vững lòng tin vào chúng ta, những trái tim thiện lành và tích cực, những cột trụ chống đỡ thế giới. Chúng ta sẽ giữ vững thế giới, dù thế giới lúc nào cũng có vẻ lung lay.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Half a glass of water, it is correct to say that the glass is half full, it is also correct to say that the glass is half empty. You can choose your own way of thinking. Most of you will say: “Of course, I choose positive thinking”; but most of you, because of habit, actually think negatively – hating, fighting, stabbing each other in the back, badmouthing about each other, looking for each other’s faults… in general, treating everyone and life with a heart full of negativity.

Negative people do not trust anyone and they only believe in their ability to survive “in a life of big fish eating small fish, flatterers destroying loyal people, evil people defeating good people.”

However, there is one thing you need to pay attention to: The world is “a world where big fish eating small fish, flatterers destroying loyal people, and evil people defeating good people.” But if that were all, the earth would have exploded and disappeared long ago, and all ethnic groups would have been exterminated long ago. The truth is that the human world is still alive and well today, with inventions in all aspects – IT, medicine, law, education, music, painting, equality, democracy, human rights, civil rights, political systems of three independent powers – legislative, judicial and executive, exploration of space and other planets…

That is to say, looking at it clearly, the human world has still developed very well over thousands of years even though humans have been purging each other for tens of thousands of years. That is because the world has always had good people holding it up – great teachers like Sakyamuni Buddha, Lord Jesus, Prophet Muhammad, Saint Gandhi, Saint Paul, Saint Francis of Assisi, and many saints, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats, and many of their disciples and followers, who are concerned with living a good life and creating lasting positive energy for the world.

So, taking history as a lesson, let us keep our faith that the good people of the world are capable of holding up the world, no matter how bad the world seems.

Let us keep our faith in us, the good and positive hearts, the pillars holding up the world. We will hold up the world, no matter how shaky it seems.
