Buccaneers!

If you happen to be in the vicinity of the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, you don't need to stop talking like a pirate quite yet. You could see "Buccaneers," the pirate musical by Liz Duffy Adams and revel in piracy. (No child required.)

Bradley Greenwald, as ever, is magnificent as Pirate King Johnny Johne (forgive me for leaving the accent off that e), and Megan Fischer is fine as Enid Arabella (the part ellen_kushner was born to play), but the show was stolen in the best possible way, in my opinion, by Dot McDonald as Mhina.

But don't listen to me. Go, matey, go! It is playing until October 21.
